What is the dress code?

What should I wear?

We kindly ask that guests come dressed in formal attire, ready to celebrate in style. Traditional Indian outfits such as sarees, lehengas, kurtas, and sherwanis are encouraged, but Indo-Western, Elegant Western and formal wear is equally welcome. Come dressed in your best—this is a celebration of love, color, and tradition.

All guests/children are already included on your RSVP page, however if there is someone you would like to bring please talk to Jo/Matt individually. Thank you!

What time should I arrive?

We would love all of our guests to participate in the Baraat so please arrive at the Fairmont Princess at 2:45PM where you will be guided to the Baraat Processional. If you are choosing not to participate in the Baraat- please meet at the Lagoon Lawn by 3:00 as we will begin the ceremony promptly at 3:30PM.

Yes there is free self parking available for all guests.

How long is the wedding ceremony

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will last approximately 45 minutes and will be a beautiful celebration of culture, tradition, and love. We invite you to take this time to witness the meaningful rituals that unite us in marriage. Light refreshments will be available before and after the ceremony to keep you comfortable throughout. We’re so grateful to share this special moment with you.

What should I expect in the ceremony?

Our wedding ceremony follows traditional Vedic rituals, which are rich in symbolism and meaning. You’ll witness sacred fire rituals, vows exchanged through the seven pheras, and blessings from family and elders. The ceremony is conducted in Sanskrit and English, with each step representing values like love, commitment, and harmony. Though the language and customs may be new to some, it’s a beautiful and timeless celebration of union and tradition. Feel free to observe, take it in, and enjoy the experience.

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

No, however there is reserved seating for older guests, those with physical restrictions, groomsmen, bridesmaids, and immediate family. Ushers will be able to assist you in finding seats that are available. There will be assigned seat settings for the reception tables.

Is it okay to take pictures or videos?

Answer

We have invested in a photographer/videographer that we can 1000% guarantee will take better pictures than your iPhone or Android so feel free to relax, live in the moment and enjoy the experience! If you do want to take pictures or social media stories, please just try your best to stay out of the photographers way and make sure to capture our good side ;)

What type of food should we expect to eat?

Due to the majority of our guests being from all over the world, we have opted for a buffet-style feast featuring a fusion of flavors that reflect our diverse backgrounds instead of a plated dinner service. We’ve thoughtfully curated a menu that blends Indian, Mexican, and Western dishes—bringing together the spices, comfort, and traditions of all three cultures. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, from classic favorites to unique cross-cultural creations.

Your presence is the greatest gift, but if you’d like to contribute with a gift, we kindly invite you to visit our wedding registry page. We’ve chosen to keep things simple with a cash fund that support our future plans. Your generosity means the world to us, and we're truly grateful.

Please RSVP by August 26, 2026 (or sooner). Kindly note that we won’t be able to accommodate responses received after this date. If we don’t hear from you by then, we will assume you’re unable to attend. Thank you for your understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you on September 26!
