What precautions will be taken regarding COVID?

Answer

Great question! We want to try and do everything we can to celebrate safely with you all! Below are some of the safety measures we will have in place during our ceremony and reception. • We are asking all guests to get tested for COVID the week before the wedding • Masks should be worn when not eating or drinking • The ceremony will be outdoors • Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the venue

When should we be tested for COVID?

Answer

The week prior to the wedding; ideally 3-4 days before the event (April 11 - April 14). We recommend getting the PCR test administrated over the antigen test. Even though it will take a few days to receive your results (2-3 on average), studies have shown this test to be more accurate.

I've been vaccinated! Should I still get tested?

Answer

Yay! We are so glad you were able to get the vaccine! Even though you have been vaccinated, we still ask that you be tested for COVID prior to traveling.

I'd love to come to the ceremony but am nervous about staying for an indoor reception.

Answer

We understand completely. Our ceremony will take place outdoors but due to previous arrangements our reception will take place inside the venue. Thankfully, the space is large and we plan on keeping the tables spread out and seating guests according to their household. With that being said, we completely understand your concern. Feel free to stay just for the ceremony! Please let us know in your RSVP if you will not be attending the reception.

I RSVP'd that I'd attend but I've unfortunately contracted COVID closer to your date.

We are so sorry to hear this and wish you a speedy recovery. Please let us know by phone or email (kpds9091@gmail.com) We are planning to have a livestream of the event so you can still join in the celebration from home!

Can I drive to the venue instead of taking the shuttle?

Answer

Of course you can! There is plenty of parking available at the venue. Be sure to arrive by 1:45pm or else you'll be stuck behind the Baraat!

Why is the ceremony 'unplugged' and what does that mean?

Answer

An unplugged ceremony is one where all guests stow away their phones/cameras so they can be fully present with everyone! We've hired wonderful professionals to capture all of the precious moments so you don't have to. We cannot wait to share them with you all!

But I'd really like to take pictures for my family members that could not attend...

Answer

Don't you worry! We will be sure to send out the beautiful professional photos for everyone to see!

Is the cocktail hour/reception also 'unplugged'?

Answer

Nope! Feel free to selfie away once cocktail hour begins! Go ahead and tag #divfoundakper to all those snazzy posts on social media!

Do I need to change into another fashionable outfit for the reception?

Answer

No need to change! You can rock your outfit all night long as the cocktail hour and reception will follow immediately after the ceremony!
