Orlando Airport

The Orlando airport is approximately a 1.5 hour drive south of Ocala. Typically, there are more flights going into this airport and some are cheaper than alternatives.

Gainesville Airport

Gainesville has a smaller, regional airport. The drive is much shorter from this airport to Ocala verses the drive from Orlando to Ocala. Due to the fact that this is a much smaller airport, fewer flights go in and out and almost all flights are routed through the Atlanta airport.

Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club

Golden Ocala has a variety of rental properties that are all between a 1-2 minute drive from the clubhouse where the ceremony is. Guests staying at these villas are able to access the restaurants in the clubhouse and the pool in the Golden Ocala community during their stay. Most of the rental properties allow pets. The realty group recommends some properties for multiple families since there are more than one bedrooms in certain houses. Book online via the link or call Royal Shell to book.

The Equestrian Hotel

The Equestrian is a world renowned hotel and equestrian event center. The Equestrian is about a five minute drive away from where the ceremony is being held. The hotel has restaurants on the property which are open to the public. There is no room block for our wedding here. Please let Meg or Alex know if you book a room with this hotel, as we are attempting to plan for transportation from the hotel to the wedding venue.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Ocala

Springhill Suites by Marriott Ocala has offered us a room block for the dates June 6-9. A double queen or single king room is $149 per night. You may call the hotel directly to book and mention you are a part of the Phillips-van Ooy wedding. An online link for reservations is available here! Pets allowed with fee. Indoor swimming and fitness center. Full hot breakfast included. Any extra rooms will be released after May 23rd, so book early if possible. The hotel is about a 15 minute ride from the wedding venue. THERE WILL BE A SHUTTLE! We have hired transportation to bring guests staying at this hotel to and from the venue the day of the wedding.
