Meg and Alex met online early in February of 2018. The first date was at Kona Grill in Fairfax, Virginia because at the time Alex was residing in Rockville, Maryland for graduate school. Neither one of them expected it to be anything more than a casual date. But the last five years has been marked by shared joys of graduations from graduate school, the adoption of a dachshund named Tillie, renting houses, teaching licenses, scuba certifications, and now most excitingly- medical school! The proposal occurred at the Melting Pot, which the couple refer to as "our place", from their many visits. Due to logistics, Megan and Alex were legally married in Washington, D.C. on July 11, 2023. Megan and Alex cannot wait for everyone to share in their special day June 8, 2024.
