Mother of the Bride
Kate's mom has been one of the biggest supporters in her life. Through all of the ups, downs, twists and turns that Kate's life has taken, her mom has been there. Cindy is the one who instilled the love of knowledge in Kate and gave her the confidence to go back to school at 30. She always makes adventures fun and we're glad she can be on this adventure with us. Mike and Kate are so thankful to her for her support in helping them to build a life together. Cindy is a retired biomedical project manager and in her spare time she is an avid reader, loves to craft and enjoys working outside. We are so lucky that she is able to share this day with us.
Edward DiTommaso
Father of the Bride
Kate's father Ed past away in June 2023. He had a strong love of music which he passed on to Kate and also taught Kate to live life to the fullest, like each day is the last. Ed adored Mike and they had many hours of laughter together talking about BBQ, beer, music and trucks. Although Ed can not be present physically, Mike and Kate know that he will most definitely be present in spirit, partying with the rest of us, if not more.
Lindsay Rae Serina
Matron of Honor
Lindsay and Kate have been best friends since 3 years old. Lindsay has been by Kate's side throughout all of the highs and lows that life brings and has truly been Kates rock, confidant and sister for 33 years. Kate can not picture this day happening without Lindsay by her side. Lindsay has a strong love of the beach and she spends ample time with her family on their boat when the weather is nice. Lindsay is an amazing mom to two daughters (Lucy and Anna). When she is not taking care of her family and friends she is taking care of others, working as a nurse. Lindsay is also a cat mom to two cats, Simba and Dahlia, who Kate has been trying to pet for years. We are beyond excited to be able to share this day with Lindsay and her husband Jason.
Kaitlin Magee
Bridesmaid
Kaitlin and Kate met on the first day of school at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine pursuing their doctorate degrees. Kaitlin spent many long nights with Kate in years 1 through 3 studying for exams, and many long days during clinical year 4 being a shoulder to lean or cry on and being an every day source of joy that is sometimes hard to find in clinics. Kaitlin graduated with her DVM from Tufts University, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine with Kate in May of 2024 and works in small companion animal and exotic animal practice. She is a reptile mom to two snakes, Dewey and Linguine. It is a treat to be able to celebrate this day with Kaitlin and her husband Dan.
Danielle DiTommaso
Bridesmaid
Danielle is Kates cousin and is older by just 6 months. Danielle and Kate have been close for their entire lives but even more so in the past few years. Danielle and Kate grew up together spending lots of time together at family pool parties and hangouts between their dad's, who are brothers. Danielle has a strong love for running and in the past few years has completed the Boston Marathon, New York City Marathon and London Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer's Research in memory of Kate's dad, Ed, who also shared this passion. Mike and Kate were able to experience the magic of her marathon goals by rooting her on at the New York and London marathons. She's also a great cook, Disney lover, and a dog mom of two crazy boxers, Cash and Rajah. We are excited to celebrate our day with Danielle.
Amanda Yates
Bridesmaid
Kate met Amanda six years ago when they were introduced by mutual friends but it was their mutual weirdness that solidified their friendship. Amanda and Kate bonded over the love of adventure, kayaking and music. Amanda is a constant source of support for Kate and is always there with a positive outlook to brighten up even the darkest of situations. Amanda's creativity has lead her to start her own company (Wonderland Wayfinding) where her artistry and imagination come to life through her creations of beautiful signage. She has created signage for multiple corporations including MHC and has helped to make our wedding day extra special by creating the signage to be used at the wedding. We are so very blessed to get to celebrate this day with Amanda.
Anna Craig
Bridesmaid
Kate had the pleasure of meeting Anna during clinical year at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Anna graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Kitts and Nevis with her DVM. She currently works in small animal emergency care. Anna's "give it to you straight" attitude paired with a ridiculous love of Jersey Shore quickly bonded Kate and Anna during long days in large animal medicine while on clinical rotation. Anna has continued to be a source of laughter in Kates life and always brings a little extra spunk to the group. Anna lives in CT with her partner Nick, their dog "Road Kill" and their bird "Meeko". We are very happy to be sharing this day with them.
Luke Laflamme
Officiant
Mike and Luke both attended Keefe Tech High School where they played hockey together. They rekindled their friendship later in life after reuniting at Indian Ranch at the Charlie Daniels Band concerts where Luke would attend with his father in their rat rod. Luke has become family to Mike and Kate and an uncle to the boys. He is a loyal friend that is always there when you need him, no questions asked. He will drop everything to help Mike whenever trucks or equipment breakdown and has always given Mike a sense of relief. His "go with the flow" attitude is the "ying" to Mike's structured "yang". Kate and Mike lived with Luke and his brother Jake for a short while before moving into their own home. Luke enjoys spending his time working with his hands, especially on cars and also is an experienced welder. Kate and Mike are honored to have him as their Controller of the Peace (Officiant).
Dee Heaton
Mother of the Groom
Dee is Mikes mom and has always been a huge supporter of his goals and ambitions. She has been a constant source of encouragement and true support for Mike through out his life. She has instilled in him some of his most valued qualities such as seeing the best in others and loving his family beyond measure. Dee is a proud grandmother of 7 beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys crafting and is always making gifts for her family that are so imaginative and creative. Dee has been married to her husband Mark for 40 wonderful years and we are so happy to spend this day with the both of them.
Mark Heaton
Father of the Groom
Mark has always been a huge part of Mike's life. Mark instilled a strong work ethic into Mike during his formative years which has translated into Mike building a successful company that has now been going strong with 20 years in business. Mark and Mike also share a love of hockey and music and have many stories to tell surrounding adventures in both. Mark set a beautiful example of how to be a father for Mike to emulate within his own family. Mark is a proud grandfather of 7 and lives in North Attleboro. We are so happy to be able to share this day with him and his wife Dee.
Nicholas Heaton
Best Man
Nicholas is Mikes oldest son. Nick entered into the sport of wrestling, landing a spot on the Varsity team early in his high school career and is now entering into his senior year as Captain. Nick loves to learn all that he can from Mike about the business and looks up to him tremendously. He loves learning about things that truly interest him and he has a strong passion for business and finance which he will pursuing at college next year. Nick loves to solve the puzzles of business and find creative ways to make things work. It has been a pleasure to watch him grow into the young man that he is. We are beyond proud of Nick and so happy to have him as one of Mikes best men.
Nathan Heaton
Best Man
Nathan is Mike's youngest son. Nate has an inquisitive mind and even from a young age he could be found always looking over mikes shoulder to see what he was doing and how it was being done as Mike worked on trucks and equipment. Nate is a diligent middle school student often helping his friends to grasp concepts in different subjects. Nate is caring and kind and always wants the best for others. Nate has a true passion for football and is a starting center for Hopkinton Middle School Football. It has been a pleasure to watch Nate grow into the young man that he is. We are so very proud of Nate and are so happy to have him as one of Mikes best men.
Joel Stewart
Groomsman
Joel and Mike were introduced years ago by mutual friends but have many shared interests. Joel is always up for having fun and will try to find the best part in any situation with a joke or a laugh. He is a very hard worker and is often found working with Mike late into the day to complete a project. Joel played a large role in helping Mike to enjoy his trip to Greece (for the proposal) by handling the day to day for MHC back at home. Mike and Joel have many stories to tell from years of wild adventures together but the most recent and lasting adventure Joel has been on is starting a family. Joel is a wonderful father of two (Mikara the little princess and Joey the fearless) and we are so very proud to have Joel and his significant other, Annie, join us in todays celebration of love.
Keith Boucher
Groomsman
Keith and Mike met years ago through their love of motorcycles. They have many memories from motorcycle trips around the country and love to ride together. Keith owns his own electrical company (Keith Boucher Electric) and has worked with Mike on many projects. There has never been an electrical issue that Keith can't fix. Keith is an amazing father to 4 children and he and Mike have bonded over the trials and tribulations of fatherhood over the years. Keith enjoys riding his motorcycle, going out fishing on his boat and spending time with his family. Mike and Keith have a true brotherhood bond and we are so thankful that he is able to be with us to celebrate.
Tony Rosado
Groomsman
Mike and Tony met through their love of motorcycles but have grown in friendship through shared experience. Tony and Mike have a solid relationship like that of two brothers although Tony is ten years Mike's senior. They have been on numerous adventures out of state together and have had each others backs through the good and the bad. Tony is also a business owner (Rosado and Sons Landscape) and therefor shares many early morning calls with Mike to talk business, vent and bore each other. Tony, although a prankster, truly values Mike as a friend and we are pleased to have him and his significant other, Wendy, share this day with us.
Brian Gillis

Mike and Brian met while completing Brian's father-in-law's home addition. Brian came to work for Mike soon after. While working for MHC, Brian was a cornerstone of Mike's team providing support and knowledge when needed most. Brian is a Marine Veteran who proudly served his country. Brian and Mike both share a love for firearms and camping. They lean on each other from time to time when life's trials and tribulations arise. Brian is a proud father of 2 daughters and is a loving husband to his wife Sarah. We are so glad that Brian and Sarah are able to be with us to celebrate.
