Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kiddos, due to capacity, we respectfully ask no children. We hope you take this opportunity to let your hair down and party with us.

What does beach semi-formal attire mean?

Answer

Please no jeans. We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible but hope you take this opportunity to still get jazzed up. We recommend sticking to flats or wedges. Feel free to take your shoes off at the beach.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average high and low for end of June is 78°/49°. However, mother nature does like to throw a curve ball or two. Check your weather apps before you pack. We recommend bringing a light jacket. Note, our reception is primarily outdoors. However, there are heating lamps and fire pits.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Round Hill Pines has a large parking lot. However, it is also shared with the public side of the beach. Head to the ceremony early if you plan on driving. It may be worthwhile to ride share if you are staying in the S. Lake area. Basecamp allows free parking for one car per room if you are a guest of the hotel. If not, there is a public parking garage within walking distance for a fee. Shuttles will be provided for free to and from the ceremony with pick up/drop off at Basecamp Hotel. Please let us know on your RSVP if you plan on using the shuttle.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure the ceremony starts on schedule, we recommend you arrive at least half an hour before the ceremony to give guests enough time to grab a drink and take their seats.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to RSVP by May 15th through our website. To save our trees, formal invitations were sent via email. Please let us know if your invitation didn't make it.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, meaning no phones or devices, so you can truly be present in this moment with us. For everything else, post away!!! Use #GoWithDisFlo so we can see all your great shots.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Basecamp has set aside a room block at discounted rates for Thursday and Friday. If you're thinking of extending your vacation, the hotel is kindly offering the same locked in rate for reservations 6/22-6/28. Because S. Lake is a popular destination in the summer, we recommend reserving your room as soon as possible. Reservations made through the block can be cancelled 30 days prior to checkin. Basecamp check in is at 4 pm. For guests arriving the day of the wedding, contact Basecamp to inquire about early check in. If your schedule allows, we would love to spend the day with guests on Thursday. For reservations, go to the 'Travel' section on the website.
