When should we arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 3-3:15pm in order to get seated. Ceremony will start at 3:30pm. Cocktail hour and reception will follow.

Where should we park?

Answer

There is free parking at the Madonna Inn even if you are not a guest. When you enter the Madonna Inn, up just a little way, the Secret Garden is on your left. There is parallel parking right outside the Garden entry and plenty of parking in front of the main Madonna Inn building. If you plan on drinking, we of course encourage you to Uber/Lyft.

Can we bring our kids?

Our wedding is intended for those 21+. If you have any questions please reach out to Matt or Kelly.

What’s the attire?

Answer

Semi-casual, garden party vibes! The ceremony and reception will be held in the Secret Garden so the ground is mainly grass so high heels are not recommended. SLO gets “California cold” in the evening so we’d recommend a jacket for once the sun goes down.

Dinner will be buffet style: Cesar Salad Summer Salad Veggie Blend Green Beans Au Gratin Potatoes Tri-color Cheese Tortellini Creamy Chicken Pasta Prime Rib Carving Station Dessert & late night snack to follow !

Is there an open bar?

If that’s a question, you may not know Matt and Kelly very well! Yes! Kelly & Matt's signature cocktails, wine, beer, & well drinks will be served from 4pm-9pm.

What time does the reception end? Is there an after party?

Answer

Reception ends at 9 pm, but we would love to keep the celebration going! There is a bar inside the Madonna Inn for those who don’t want the night to end. We will be heading to the Madonna Inn Bar and then San Luis Obispo downtown has fantastic nightlife, bar hopping is intended for the rest of the evening for those who are interested.
