We met during our sophomore year of high school. We’d seen each other in class and passed in the hallways, but had never actually spoken. Then one day, we found ourselves at a homecoming football game together and just like that, I was wearing Joe’s Cornwall football sweatshirt and doodling his jersey number (#25) in all my notebooks. Our relationship turned long distance, with me heading off to college in Buffalo while Joe stayed in our hometown. For five years, we made it work, driving six hours just to spend a few precious days together. After graduation, I finally moved back home, and we started a new chapter: moving into our first apartment together. Then came the most magical moment of all our beautiful Disney proposal in front of the castle! Although I knew we would always be together I was surprised when I saw him on one knee with a ring in hand. We've been blessed to grow side by side over the past 11 years, and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!
