A trip to Maroon Bells is definitely worth your time and effort while in Aspen. The 14,000 ft peaks tower above Maroon Lake, offering some of the most spectacular views in the world. Get there by bike or shuttle. Shuttle reservations can be made at the link below, or if fully booked, day-of standby tickets can be purchased at the shuttle pick-up location in Aspen Highlands Base Village. The standby line typically has a 10-15 minute wait time.
The Rim Trail South climb to Spiral Point provides breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains—the trail winds along the scenic Rim Trail ridgeline, passing through aspen trees. The route is approximately 2.6 miles round-trip and should take 1-1.5 hours. Free parking is offered at Snowmass Village Mall or the South Rim Trailhead parking lot located on Divide Road.
Take a ride up the Silver Queen Gondola to the Sundeck at the top of Aspen Mountain (otherwise known as Ajax). There are fun activities at the top, including yard games, live music, food, drinks, and the best views around. Tickets can be purchased at the link below or when in town at the Aspen Mountain Ticket Office.

Walk off the gondola and into an adventure on an alpine coaster, biking trails, a ropes course, a zipline, a climbing wall, fishing ponds, hiking trails, and a disc golf course.
