Black Tie Optional. For Ladies, think evening gown. For men, consider a tuxedo or a dark suit paired with a tie. We will take a chairlift to the top of the mountain for the ceremony and then return down for the reception, so please keep that in mind as you choose your shoes.
Please arrive at the Summit Express chairlift located at the base of Buttermilk Mountain by 4:30pm. It is important to arrive promptly, as it will take around 15 minutes on the chairlift to reach the top and will allow for the loading time of all guests. After the ceremony, guests will return to the base for the cocktail hour and the reception at Buttermilk Mountain Lodge.
Shuttle service from Viceroy Snowmass to the venue begins at 3:15 PM, with the last shuttle departing at 4:15 PM. For those who prefer to drive or are not staying at Viceroy Snowmass, there is ample parking on-site. If you choose to Uber/Lyft home from the event, you can leave your car overnight and be picked up by 10 AM the next day.
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be mostly indoors.
June is typically a wonderful time of year in Aspen! During the day, expect temperatures to average 75 degrees. It will get chilly at night (45-50 degrees), so plan to bring some layers for the evening.
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
The shuttles will be stationed outside of the reception at Buttermilk Mountain Lodge beginning at 10 PM. They will be available for drop-off at Viceroy Snowmass as needed.
