Don't be alarmed by the name. The Strip District is home to an assortment of international grocery stores and retailers, boutique shops, independent merchants, and outstanding restaurants. We recommend going in the morning and stopping by the Smallman Galley or Pamela's for brunch.
For some trendy stores, great restaurants, and hopping bars, check out Walnut Street. We recommend the rooftop at Steel Cactus for Mexican + drinks, pancakes at Pamela's for brunch, or Girasole for Italian.

Snazzy place for an excellent French dinner if you're looking to go somewhere higher end on Friday or Saturday evening. Check out Paris Bistro 66 (sister restaurant) for something a little lower key.

The centerpiece of Pitts's campus, the Cathedral of Learning, is worth strolling into. It's the tallest educational building in the Western hemisphere, fun fact. We don't know what beats it, so maybe ask them for us if you visit.
