Question

How far away is the reception venue from the ceremony ? Can you give me more deets on what transportation looks like?

Answer

The ceremony will be at St. Thomas More which is about 30 minutes from the the reception at Spruce Mountain Ranch. However, it will be Friday afternoon so that will most likely cause a delay. Just think of it as extra time to prepare for the party! Or you could stop at 7 Eleven for your free slurpee. There may even be some car snacks to grab after the ceremony ;) If you plan on driving, there are plenty of parking spots at both St. Thomas More and Spruce Mountain Ranch. Please just be sure to have a DD- carpooling is highly recommended! The reception location is a little bit remote and will require the driver to be extra alert- especially in the dark. Safety first!! If you have booked a room through our Inverness hotel block there will be a shuttle to transport you from the church to Spruce Mountain Ranch and then back to the hotel after the reception. Unfortunately, they will only let guests of the hotel block on the shuttle so don't plan on using the shuttle unless you have booked a room through the hotel block. There is no organized transportation from the hotel to the church, so you will need to get an Uber or another ride, but it is only about an 8-minute drive! If you plan on taking Uber and Lyft for all festivities, we recommend booking a ride for after the reception in advance. Since Spruce Mountain Ranch is in a remote area, it may be difficult to get an Uber/Lyft the night of the event.
