For our friends and family traveling to Italy...
Please make sure you research the proper documentation that is needed to travel to Italy from your country. If you need help planning your travel, we are working with a travel agent to make your planning for this trip a breeze! All guests are encouraged to email, text, or call our travel agent, Jennifer. Let her know you will be attending the DiMatteo-Brown wedding in Italy!!! Jennifer will book your flights, hotels, and trains for the trip. She will also put together an itinerary and help you with planning if you choose to do some extra traveling before/after the wedding. Let her know what dates you would like to travel and the cities you would like to travel to. Please reach out to her ASAP so you can get an idea on costs and get to planning! PGD is the closest and most affordable airport to our venue. Please check their website to see if they fly into Punta Gorda from a city near you.

The next closest airport to our Florida reception is SRQ. Please utilize Google Flights to find the cheapest tickets into SRQ.

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor
This is the closest hotel to the Punta Gorda Airport. It is a 35-40 min drive (pending traffic) from the Florida reception venue. This resort is new, fun, and has lots of things to do! It is also close to downtown Punta Gorda where there are various restaurants, shops, and a farmers market on Saturdays from 8am-1pm. Please utilize their website to check rates for their rooms.

Airbnb
If you prefer to stay in a home close to the beach please utilzie Airbnb. I would reccomend staying in Englewood (15-20 mins away) or Venice (25-40 mins away) for the nicest beaches. Sarasota has beautiful beaches as well and more things to do if you don't mind the drive (50 mins-1 hr away). TO AVOID SCAMS: Please be sure that you stay in an airbnb that is a "superhost" or a "guest favorite" and check the reviews to avoid scams!!!
