We were both ready to give up on online dating when we found each other. When we first talked on the phone, I was in a hotel room 1700 miles away. Dilyana, truly the world's greatest museum enthusiast, learned that I had visited twelve museums during my short stay in Mexico City. As an anthropology and Middle East history major who became a lawyer, I found out that Dilyana is an anthropologist and Field Museum research associate, and studied Balkan history in college. I knew immediately that I had loved this woman all my life, and only now had found her. Sometimes you just know. Since then, we've found that we have everything important in common, including rolling with things when they seem to go wrong -- which makes everything go right. We both will never eat indoors when it's nice outside. That night we met was a beautiful evening, and there were open tables out on the patio. At one of those tables, we lost ourselves in one another for the first time. We talked, touched, kissed, looked into each other's eyes, and knew. .
