Our personal favorite hikes and places are Rocky Mountain National Park (requires a pass), 14ers, Echo Lake, St, Mary’s Glacier, and especially anything with a waterfall. We may even see you at some of these wonderful places, if you play your cards right ;)
This amphitheater, even when vacated, is incredibly picturesque. As it is a fully outdoor venue sitting right on the Lake. (Think smaller Red Rocks) After you check out the amphitheater, try walking around some of the Dillon Reservoir. While we can’t recommend hiking around the whole lake as it extends to Breckenridge (~6hr loop), you could drive around it or stop at any point and explore!
We have loved exploring Breckenridge’s many stores, delicious restaurants, and charming atmosphere! In addition to all that, there is a free bus that will shuttle you throughout the downtown area.
For those wanting to shop during their stay, Silverthorne offers a conveniently located and fairly walkable outlet mall with plenty of things to see and buy! There are plenty of other options too in Breckenridge: Frisco Emporium, Basecamp center, Towne Square Mall
