Especially for those traveling from out of state: please keep in mind Silverthorne Colorado is 9100’ above sea level and generally quite dry like much of Colorado. Give yourself time to adjust to the lower concentration of oxygen. If you’re exercising, bring plenty of water and take it slow. After about the first day, your body will start getting used to these conditions. Altitude sickness can happen fast, so watch out for headaches, nausea, shortness of breath, rapid heart rates, and sudden sleepiness as these are all signs that you need to rest and recover. We hope you stay safe out there and enjoy all the beauty and fun this area has to offer!
We sure hope so. Historically, there is a chance of snow in early November, so prepare for a relatively cold (~40 degrees F) ceremony. If weather ends up worse than expected, we will move the outdoor ceremony into the top floor of the venue’s reception area.
Wear what you would feel comfortable socializing/dancing in. Also make sure you bring warmer layers for the probably outdoor ceremony. Most will wear formal dresses and suits with coats for the ceremony.
Please kindly RSVP by October 8th
Please arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony to give yourself time to park find the venue and choose your seat. The wedding will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m.
There is parking both in the front of the venue (only a portion of this is venue parking) and on the other side of the river. There is a nice walking bridge to connect this lot to the venue.
Kids are absolutely welcome! We love all the kids in our life and we hope they have a grand ol’ time!
There will likely be some more informal events around the wedding. Stay tuned, more information will follow.
