Best Man
TJ is one of my oldest friends. We were roommates freshman year at Appalachian State and he's practically my brother from another mother. I'm not sure I've ever seen TJ fail at anything he has set his mind to. He can ride bike wheelies for what seems like miles and fearlessly navigate sketchy lines on his snowboard. He has always pushed me to my greatest potential. TJ is married to his wife Lee and is a father to one, soon to be two sons. He is a biologist for the State of NC.

My Maid of Honor, my sister, my best friend, and my rock. What you have done for me throughout my life, I could never repay you for. You have fought for me when times were ugly. You cried with me when times were sad. You laughed with me when I needed it and never left my side. I'm so glad God saw fit to make my best friend my sister. You are one of my biggest cheerleaders in life, the best advice giver and in some ways have been a second mom to me. I love you forever.
Tyler Berryhill

Tyler became one of my best friends years after high school. We used to chill at his grandmas house and play video games until the early hours of the morning. He has been there for me through some of the most difficult times in my life. In addition to being my roommate for three years, Tyler is one of the greatest friends I could ask for. He is married to his wife Carrie and works as a technology assistant for the McDowell County schools.

My Bridesmaid, my longest friend. Jordan and I became friends in Jr. High. From mission trips with our youth group, to summer lake days, to high school ball games, we've done it all. Our friendship really flourished two summers ago one morning in Black Mountain over pancakes. I needed a friend and you offered your whole self and the rest was history. You met me at a vulnerable place in my life, and I am forever grateful to you for all you have done for me. Jordan is a kind and gentle spirit, she's a red wine connoisseur, and dog mom to the sweetest little dogs. Jordan is one of those friends you call in the middle of the night if you need someone to talk to. If I ever need anything or have a dilemma, Jordan is the friend that always has a plan. Thanks for saying yes to being by my side!

I knew Ian while in high school but became best friends with him after the fact. Ian and I have been going to the same church for roughly ten years now and he is a friend I can count on to be there for me no matter the time or day. Ian is a high school special education math teacher and he is getting hitched to his fiancé, Ashley, one week after our wedding!
Whitney Parks

My sassy, bold, truth telling friend. Whitney and I met when I was a CNA aspiring to be a nurse. We completed our LPN and RN programs together, and now we are working through our bachelor programs together. Whitney is the type of friend every girl needs. She speaks truth even when it hurts. You have taught me to stand up for myself always. You are such a strong woman and I look up to you in so many ways. Whitney spent many nights with me studying at my dining room table, cried with me when I needed it, and provided me with laughs at the most opportune of times. From day one, Whitney told me I was going to marry Dillon. You were right! I couldn't imagine you not being by my side on this special day!
Ethan Flynn

Ethan and I began our friendship in college and became best friends when annual snowboarding trips out west became a norm. He is likened to snowboarding legend Travis Rice when we're slashing first tracks on some of the most epic snowboarding runs we've ever seen. He is a lifelong friend and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Ethan is a manager of a homeless shelter in Boone, NC.

My soul sister. If there was anyone in this world more like me it would be Danielle. We even joke about being twins! I met Danielle the first day of nursing school. Though she may live miles away, we never miss a day of one another's life. Danielle is the type of loyal friend that every girl needs. She is fun, smart, and the most humble person you'll ever meet. She's crazy talented and makes the best nursing study guides around! From beach trips, to tanning until we hurt, to crashing wedding parties and dancing with the bride, you have always been there for me. I couldn't imagine you not being by my side.
Burton Younts

Burton and I really began our friendship when he moved back to Marion after completing his college education in engineering at NC State University. We hit the golf course frequently when time allows, and I'm not sure I've played with a more consistent golfer than Burton when he is in the zone. We have been best of friends since 2014 and have shared many good memories with one another. Burton is an electrical engineer at Baxter Healthcare.

My cousin. When I was a child, I held you in my arms and dressed you up to be my own personal baby doll. On my special day, you get to hold my hand as I take the next step in my life. You always handle yourself with poise and dignity as you care not for what others think of you. You never falter in your faith. Not once did you leave my side. I am so proud of the woman you have become and continue to become. Bekah will graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill as a registered nurse. It has been an honor to watch you grow into a strong woman. You are like my little sister and I thank God for you!
