I met Kiersten when she and I were just teenagers. We went to the same church and I first noticed her when she started coming to youth group. We became friends and we made a lot of memories over the years as we shared in many fun adventures such as summer camps at the beach and mission trips to Baltimore and Honduras. My affection grew for Kiersten as a senior in high school and I asked her to be my girlfriend. Her love for God and compassionate heart was what attracted me to her and for the first time we were both in love. We dated throughout my freshman year in college and then life took us in opposite directions. Over the course of the next 6 years, Kiersten and I would live a lot of life never expecting to be reunited with one another, but little did we know that we would reconnect all these years later. We are both all the more thankful for one another because of the life experiences we shared while we were apart, and firmly believe that God has led us to where we are today. Not many people can say they got to marry their high school sweetheart! We're so excited to commit ourselves to one another with all of our family and friends in attendance and look forward to October 27th, 2019!
