To assist us in our planning, we kindly request that all guests RSVP promptly upon receiving their invitation. This allows us ample time to finalize headcounts, meal selections, and seating arrangements. Final RSVPs should be received no later than May 31st. RSVPs may be submitted using the card included with your formal wedding invitation—yes, the classic pen-and-paper method! Please note that we do not have an RSVP option on our website.
The ceremony will be held indoors at the Rosary Chapel at Santa Catalina School. The cocktail hour and reception will take place in a beautifully tented venue at Carmel Valley Ranch. For additional details, please refer to the "Schedule" page.
Dress Code: Formal For Women: Floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail or midi dresses, or formal jumpsuits in luxurious fabrics such as silk, satin, or chiffon. Evenings may be cool, so a light jacket or shawl is recommended. For Men: A suit with a tie or bow tie is appropriate. Footwear: Please note that portions of the venue include gravel paths, and the cocktail hour and reception will be held on golf course grass. We recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats for comfort, or bringing a change of shoes for the reception. We encourage attire that is timeless and elegant, with a subtle nod to California coastal charm, while ensuring comfort throughout the celebration.
Carmel Valley in July is typically beautiful and mild, though coastal conditions can be unpredictable. Daytime temperatures generally range from the high 60s to low 80s°F, with a light breeze or evening chill possible after sunset. Here’s how the wedding day will unfold: Ceremony: Held indoors at the chapel, ensuring a comfortable setting sheltered from sun or fog. Cocktail Hour: In a tent on the range, offering fresh air and scenic views while providing protection from the elements. Dinner and Dancing: Under the same tented reception area on the lawn, combining elegance with an open-air ambiance. After-Party: Indoors at the clubhouse. We recommend selecting attire that balances elegance with comfort, as guests will be moving between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Yes! A shuttle will be offered for pickup from the Hyatt Regency to the ceremony and reception as well as back to the Hyatt from the reception. Ride-shares like Uber and Lyft are also available in the Monterey and Carmel areas, but they can be limited in Carmel Valley. If you plan to use a ride-share, we recommend scheduling your ride in advance or coordinating with others.

We kindly request that guests refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony, allowing everyone to be fully present in the moment. A professional photographer will be capturing every special memory. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like during cocktail hour and the reception!

Dinner and dancing will follow in the tented reception area. An after-party will immediately follow the reception inside the Clubhouse at Carmel Valley Ranch. Come ready to enjoy a delicious meal, dance the night away, and celebrate with us!

In observance of Carmel Valley’s 10:00 PM noise ordinance, guests are invited to continue the party indoors at the clubhouse, complete with late-night bites and lively celebration.
