Our story began during our senior year of high school at a school leadership conference. Though we attended different schools, Claire the all-girls school and Dillon the all-boys school, fate had plans for us to meet. We struck up a conversation that day and before too long we were dating. We quickly became the classic high school sweethearts. After graduation, life took us on different paths, Claire to Michigan to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse, and Dillon to North Carolina, where he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Despite the distance, one thing never changed: our unwavering love and support for each other through every challenge, milestone, and late-night phone call. Seven years later, with Claire now a nurse and Dillon a veteran turned police officer, we finally found our way back to the same place. We’re now ready to begin the next chapter of our lives together, hand in hand, surrounded by the people who’ve supported us from the beginning. We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding day and our future with all of you!
