The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dress or a suit and tie or sports coat.
Yes! Ceremony and reception will all take place at Oak Hill Farm, following one another. Oak Hill Farm - 8044 N Gabel Ln. Apple River, IL 61001
Ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) in the Woodland Forest. Reception will take place in the pavilion, an outdoor tent with a great cross breeze! (Sunscreen is highly recommended)
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!
Please RSVP on the ‘rsvp’ tab no later than June 14th. Any late RSVPs will not be accommodated. Please reach out to the bride or groom if there are any issues or concerns.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests unless your invitation specifically includes a plus-one. We look forward to celebrating with you!
We invite you to be truly present at our ceremony, and respectfully request that all cameras and phones be turned off and put away during the ceremony.
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure everyone is seated on time.
While our wedding venue is located in Apple River, we recommend staying in Galena. We have reserved a hotel room block at The Country Inn Galena. Please see travel section for links. There are also airbnb's around the area that are an option as well.
Yes, there will be a bus picking up and dropping off at the Country Inn hotel only. If you are taking the bus from the Country Inn to the venue, pick up from hotel will be at 3:30pm. The bus will depart the venue at 11pm to take guests back to Country Inn that evening.
There is ample parking onsite at the venue. Guests are allowed to leave their vehicle overnight if you get a little too crazy, however, all vehicles must be picked up by 11am the next morning.
