When the bride and groom were discussing who would be doing the honors of marrying them they knew they did not want it to be a stranger. Once it was decided they would be asking a friend, the choice was always Nena. Nena has been a cornerstone of their friendship from the beginning. She worked with them at Outback, and once dating, she was the first person they shared the news with. Nena has always been supportive of their love and life. She is remarkably kind, generous, quick-witted, fun, and one of the most faithful people in their lives. The bride and groom are ecstatic that Nena has agreed to take on this role, and be the one to begin their union. The best part about Nena? Once the ceremony is over they PROMISE she will be out on that dance floor getting the party started!!!
Riana Lodor
Maid of Honor
To say Riana and Jenna have been planning this day for awhile would probably be an understatement for the century! These two gals met at age 4 in kindergarten and have been on a roller coaster of experiences ever since. In elementary school they would dress up in old wedding dresses and play "wedding" just waiting for the day one of them would finally be a bride. They fought through the rough years of puberty, parents divorcing, Riana's dad serving our country over seas, moving again and again, but always found a way to have their friendship endure. When Jenna decided to move to Florida after college, Riana was nothing but supportive. They have had wonderful adventures together growing up and continue to add to their memory banks as adults. They have supported each other through the worst times of their lives from heartbreaks, bad hair days, to family and loved ones passing; but have also celebrated all the greatest moments like graduations, promotions, amazing concerts, and well....wedding planning! There is no one else Jenna could imagine being her right hand girl on this momentous day. Because of her she has been changed For Good.
Angela Fulton
Bridesmaid
Angela is special to the bride and groom. She is the groom's little sister, but pretty sure Jenna has all the plans to steal and claim her as her own. The first time Jenna met Angela she was terrified. She was worried she wouldn't make a good first impression or that Angela wouldn't care for her. She couldn't have been more wrong. Over the course of Dave and Jenna's relationship, Angela has grown into one of Jenna's dearest friends. You can find these two at Raymond James Stadium cheering on the Tampa Bay Bucs (or fighting during the Bears @ Bucs game) hanging out on the porch during family Sunday family dinners, cheering and betting back and forth at the drag races, or just having girl time with Lilly-Angela's 8 going on 18 year old daughter. The bride and groom are so appreciative and honored to have Angela standing with them, and look forward to all officially being family soon.
Jari Wilton
Bridesmaid
Jari has been a friend of the bride's for a few years now; after also meeting at Outback! They started to bond over sports, even if they can't agree on a single team. (hey Jari, can we get an O-H?!) These girls could be spotted at brunch on Sunday-but if it was football season-there better be a TV! While they met at work, their friendship really took off once they moved in together. Jenna moved in to the house Jari was renting because Jenna needed to move and Jari needed a roommate. Win-Win, right? SO RIGHT!!! These two had the best living arrangement. From dinners at home, late night cards games, hosting "friendsgiving", or even just needing alone time watching their shows these girls were always in each other's corner and had the BEST time. Jari has a knack of bringing the fun out of Jenna and is always down for some good fun, good food, and good drinks!
John Schmerling
Best Man
John and Dave were destined to be best friends. If not for their hilariously matched personalities, but for how many hoops the universe had to jump in order for them to meet. John was living in New Hampshire while Dave had a friend Robbie. Robbie was friends with Chuck, John's brother, and Robbie managed liquor stores. One fateful night while John was in town visiting his brother Chuck is when the group decided to have a tattoo party. John was the tattoo artist for the night. Off the hit Dave and John connected. It wasn't long after that John moved down to Florida and began working at the liquor stores for Robbie. Dave would come say hi and a friendship blossomed. While you may be surprised to learn, these guys started hanging out as workout buddies. (I know, Jenna was shocked too!) After John saved Dave's butt big time one day with car trouble, the guys were inseparable ever since. John helped Dave renovate his first home. They spent night after night together creating a beautiful home and through blood, sweat, tears, and I am sure some choice words, a bond was built. Since then, they have transitioned from workout buddies, to primitive camping buddies, to plain old beer buddies. There is a running joke. If Dave calls in the middle of the night John goes "How much money do I need, and do I have to wear pants?" There is nothing these two won't do for each other. They may not have grown together, but sometimes you can be lucky enough pick your brother in life. A true best man
Clay Schafstall
Groomsman
Clay, Dave's groomsman is your go-to, all around good guy. Now if we are being honest, the bride and groom wouldn't know Clay if it weren't for Angela. Angela starting dating Clay shortly after our couple of the hour started dating. Ever since, Clay has become a pillar of the family. He has stepped up in Lilly's life-something we are all appreciative of. He is a fellow sports fan and always ready to head to the Bucs game or drive to the next race! Over the years, Clay and Dave have become good friends and when Dave was thinking about groomsman he thought, who better than the man who is already part of our family? Who knows, maybe Dave will have to repay the favor sooner than we think? ;)
Lillybug
Flower Girl
Oh how to tell you about Lillybug... Lilly is Dave's niece and daughter of bridesmaid, Angela. She has a spunky, beautiful fire inside her. Lilly has an unmatched heart of gold. She is an incredible role model to Logan, and enjoys the time they spend together. She brings unmatched joy to the family with her love of horses, immense collection of "fidgets", and fresh sense of humor. Dave and Jenna expect Lilly to bring her own style of flower girl duties and CANNOT wait to see her originality shine in this moment.
Logan
Son Of The Groom
Logan, Logan, Logan... Logan is the light of the Bride an Groom's life! While Jenna may not be Logan's biological mother, she has fallen in love with him just as intensely as she has fallen in love with Dave. Logan will be acting as "ring security" and the entire family has zero doubt that he will steal the show! He is rambunctious, funny, and keeps everyone on their toes, but our family would not be complete without him! Catch him and his awesome dance moves on the dance floor all night long!
