The Wedding Website of Lauren Dierker and Daniel Navon
We couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate our wedding than Mexico City! It’s a city full of vibrant culture, rich history, world-class museums, and absolutely incredible food. We’re so excited to share it all with you! Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about traveling to and staying in Mexico City including airport info, transportation tips, and details about our hotel block.

Travel Note

What documents do I need to enter Mexico?

All guests will need a valid Passport (or a Passport Card for U.S. citizens) to enter Mexico. Make sure your passport doesn’t expire within 6 months of your travel dates to avoid any issues at the airport. If you’re a U.S. citizen, no visa is required. International guests, please check the link to confirm any visa requirements.

Flight

Getting to Mexico City

Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez (MEX) is located right in the city. Many major U.S. cities, like Chicago, New York, and Miami, offer direct flights, and the airport is served by most major US airlines including American, Delta, United, Spirit, Frontier, and a wide range of international carriers. The airport is a short car ride away from the city center (20-30 minutes to most neighborhoods). Uber and Lyft both operate in Mexico City and offer easily accessible and well-priced rides.

Travel Note

Getting around Mexico City

We recommend using Uber/Lyft or walking to get around Mexico City, especially in the neighborhoods we suggest for your stay, which are safe and very walkable. Mexico City is quite large so when heading across the city or exploring less familiar areas, we recommend taking a car. As with any large city, be sure to account for traffic in your planning.

Hotel

Andaz Mexico City Condesa, by Hyatt

158 Aguascalientes
Ciudad de México, CDMX 06100, Mexico

Our hotel block is at the Andaz Mexico City Condesa, a Hyatt property located in the Condesa neighborhood. The hotel is a short drive to both our welcome event venue and the wedding venue. We’ll be providing a shuttle from the Andaz to both events for your convenience!

Hotel

Other Lodging Options

If the Andaz Mexico City Condesa isn’t the right fit for you, there are many hotels and Airbnbs in Mexico City at a various price points. We highly recommend and request that you stay in Condesa, Roma, or Juárez. These neighborhoods are charming, walkable, safe, and close to both our hotel and the wedding venue. Mexico City is quite large! There are many great neighborhoods to stay, but many are quite far from the venue, especially with the unpredictable traffic of Mexico City. We’d love for everyone to stay nearby (the closer the better!) so we can spend as much time together as possible! If you have any questions about hotels or neighborhoods, please reach out to us or our families - we’d love to help!
