Nighttime: When I'd come out to visit Ben, we would always go out to DTPS. Our go to spots were Bar and Village Pub, then we'd always finish the night with pizza from NYPD Daytime: DTPS has a lot of restaurants if you're a foodie. We recommend Cheeky's and Lulu's
Ben and I can't exactly remember our first date, but this was definitely one of the first! This is a fun little spot if your looking to do something outdoor-sy. There's a tramway that takes you up along the Chino Canyon cliffs to Mt. San Jacinto State Park where there's over 50 miles of hiking trails, observation decks, and two restaurants.(FYI it's much cooler up there so don't worry about the heat).
This is of our favorite brunch spots. The food is amazing! Also, it's located at the Shops on El Paseo, so take some homemade poptarts (Diem's reccomendation) to-go while you shop and walk off that short rib benedict (Ben's go-to).
If you're looking to shop and you've got some time on your way out to the desert or on the way home, add the Cabezon Outlet to your list of stops!
Another good pit stop either on your way out the the desert or on your way home
