On March 19, 2023, Diego proposed to Steven at Contessa in Boston ❤️ (Can you guess what Steven said?)

This is from one of our most memorable hiking trips: Zion National Park.

Steven found this unique hiking trail in the Cotswolds (Bourton-on-the-Water). It was so beautiful and relaxing that we decided to hike it twice!

Steven still recalls this hike in Shenandoah, because "the coolest part was seeing a coral mushroom!"

This is from our second trip to Peru together! We stopped at the Molino de Sabandía and La Mansión del Fundador. Steven was impressed by the fully functional mill from the 17th century!

From our trip to London. Thankfully we were blessed by a perfect weather each day!

In addition to hiking, we love spending time in museums. Steven is able to recall most facts even if he reads them only once! This picture was taken at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Steven fell in love with Arequipa because of their food and landscapes (and because Diego is Arequipenian!). This photo features Diego and Steven in El Salar de Salinas.

We also love animals! Steven and Diego found a not-so-secret path to Stonehenge through a cow field!

We loved the Victoria and Albert Museum so much that we included a bonus picture of us there!

Incredibly happy together in London.

We took this pic during our first hike together at Lonesome Lake. It was very foggy, but that made it more beautiful. (And they'd see it without fog the following year!)

We defended our doctoral theses within 7 days of each other, in Dec 2020... and we moved from Worcester to Boston (and fully furnished and decorated the apartment) three days before Diego's defense!

Diego loves Steven so much that he agreed to try this dish at Hide in London. In addition to it being a runny egg, it was also smoked (two of Diego's worst nightmares). He... liked it!

Diego loves taking pictures together with Steven—Steven does not love pictures, but loves Diego enough to allow him to photograph him!
