John Purviance
Pastor
John is one of Jana's many Uncles and is a Preacher at Cuthand United Methodist Church in Cuthand, Texas. John is the husband to Kristi, and is the father to Mayzie, Evan, and Zachariah. John and his family have made such a huge impact on our lives in more ways than we have room to tell here. Cuthand UMC is the church Jana grew up in and to have "John John" have such a huge part in our day means the world to us.
Allen Thompson
Officiant
Allen and Matt met during college in Lubbock, Texas. Allen and his wife, Liz currently reside in Kansas. Allen has taught Speech, been a Debate Coach, Speech & Debate Writer and even spent some time in Washington D.C. as a Congressional Intern at the United States House of Representatives. We jokingly nicknamed him "Senator Thompson" for a while. Allen is one of the most kind, caring, funny, and articulate people we know and we can't wait to see what he writes up for us.
Ashleigh Roe

Have you ever met someone and known within a very short time frame that that person is going to be one of your best friends for the rest of your life? That no matter how many miles separate you or where each of your lives go, you're never going to have to go a day without knowing that you have that person in your corner? Well, that's my Ashleigh. Ashleigh lives with her husband, Jeremy, in Lubbock and is a cosmotologist at Salon Sculpt. She will also be the one making Jana look and feel like a princess on her wedding day. We are so happy to have you be part of our wedding, Ashleigh!
Taylor Didway
Best Man
Taylor is Matt's first younger sibling. Taylor and Matt are two years apart and have been through everything together, from riding dirt bikes at DB's to shooting clays at Dad's and all the craziness they put their Mom through in between, as you can imagine two boys would do! They have always had each others backs and Matt couldn't imagine having anyone else standing next to him on our big day. Taylor is a sales representative at Bay Marine & Sports Center, so if you need a new boat, we know a guy. He and his wife Sarah live on the cutest little place, "Leaning Tree Farm" just outside of Marble Falls.
Kayla Whitefield
Maid of Honor
Kayla and Jana grew up in Sweetwater, Texas. Even though it wasn't until after high school that they became friends, they've been through hell and back together and there's a lifetime ahead of them together. We've made some pretty bad choices together, but we have dang sure made some good ones. Kayla and Matt have also been friends for quite some time. While Kayla and Matt were in college in Lubbock, they too became the best of friends through mutual friends. We couldn't imagine our day without you, Kayla!
Parker Floyd
Best Man
Parker is the second youngest sibling to Matt. He is 10 years younger than Matt and has obviously inherited all of his best qualities from his two older brothers. Ha! He loves playing guitar, riding dirt bikes and jamming old school rock & roll. He is an all around great guy and would do anything for anyone. Matt couldn't imagine not having him up there with him as well. He is a senior at Marble Falls High and plans to attend Blinn in Brenham after he graduates. We're pretty sure that Devin would trade both of us in a second for this guy, he is always a trooper every time we come to visit.
Katie Edwards

Katie, recently moved to San Diego, California and is making the long trip to be part of our wedding. Katie and Jana have been friends since high school and is one of the truest friends a girl can have. Katie's goal in life is to make the world a better place by helping and teaching children in difficult situations. Her personality outshines everyone in the room and she is consistently making everyone around her smile. Katie is probably Jana's mother's "favorite", and rightfully so. Katie, you touch children's lives and you lead them in in a direction to improvement. You are everything we could ever want for Devin and maybe one day future children to learn from. We are so happy that you will be there to stand with us on our wedding day.
Scott Bednorz

Scott, better known as McKnight or Bradley, is the "S" in "JSM." Scott and Matt met through Joe in college and from that day on it was rare to see the three apart from each other. They all moved in together and that was the beginning of the infamous "JSM" house. From the wild party nights to the BEST movie Sundays you could imagine they have a friendship most people never find. Scott is a superb car salesmen for Alderson BMW in Lubbock, he is dating the favorite and youngest Anthony sister, Regan, or "Prod" as Matt would say. Pachanga.
Jessica Stacy

Jessi is the mother to the cutest little guy ever, Virgil, and the wife to one of Jana's old high school friends, Kyle Stacy. We are all so glad that Kyle brought Jessi in our lives. She's the go to for life advice, questions you would ask your mother, and such a genuinely good person. Virgil will be just shy of turning 2 on our wedding day, and we aren't quite sure what's going to happen, but it doesn't even really matter because the cuteness will melt your heart. Here's to Wedding Weekend part two!
Joe Brelsford

Joe, the J in "JSM", the Lady Killer, the one with the Baby Blues. Joe and Matt met in college through mutual friends and have been best friends ever since. He is the third member of the infamous "JSM" house. Joe is the one in the group that always likes to have a great time. Sometimes a little too much, ha! He will be the one on the dance floor with the best moves and definitely the one with the "coolest hair". He is the guy that would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat and the one you always want in your corner. Joe is currently finishing up school down in College Station but still a Red Raider at heart. Wreck 'em!
Kalli Moore

Oh Kalli... Kalli is the friend your family always remembers because she immediately introduces herself and will shake your hand like a man. She's always ready to have a good time and works her rear end off helping her boyfriend, Trevor, and their family business. (Shout out to Cook's Garage, check it out if you haven't because that place is aweome!) Kalli was also friends with Matt before she became friends with Jana, and there's no turning back now. We love your sweet heart and wild attitude, Kal-Girl!
Pecos Nowlin

Pecos, Don't be surprised if he shows up in a top hat and a wild cat shirt to the wedding. Pecos has to be one of the funniest people we know. He is a cotton farmer in the good ole' Fisher County. Jana and Pecos met in high school when one of Jana's friends was dating his cousin. Matt and Pecos later met when Matt was roommates with another Fisher County native, Zane. He is definitely a long standing friend to both of us. From the FC Wine Parties, the ever long list of Blue Light adventures, and kiddie pool chillin' on the 4th of July. Pecos has always been such a dear friend to both of us. Wooppaaaa!
Erin Busch

Saying "Erin" will never sound right, it's always going to be EA. Erin is another Anthony sister and was recently married to Steffan. She has got to be the most honest person I think either one of us know and it's never been a bad thing to date. EA is another one of those ladies that Jana would have been forced to be friends with based on her prior friendship with Matt, but it didn't take long for them to become such good friends either. EA might be the only person that Jana has actually enjoyed going shopping with, because they both are pretty indecisive about things and wondering around is never an issue. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding with you, EA!
Steffan Busch

Steffan is a blessing brought to us by Erin. We still aren't quite sure how EA managed to keep him around, but we are so glad she did. Steffan quickly became a dear friend to all of us. You can’t help but love Steffan from the moment you meet him. He is definitely Matt's adventure buddy. Vegas has a special place in both of their hearts. Fun fact: Steffan helped direct Matt to the jeweler who designed Jana's engagement ring. Bless you, buddy.
Regan Anthony

Regan, or "Prod" as Matt would say, is the youngest of 4 beautiful sisters, God bless Dennis Anthony. Regan became part of the "Pachanga Crew" much earlier in life than the rest of us. She quickly fell into place and somehow Scott managed to have her fall in love with him. Nearly 10 years later, Regan and Scott are still together. Matt often refers to Regan, and Erin for that matter, as his sisters. It's a blessing that Regan and Jana have became such good friends, because even if they weren't they'd probably be be forced to fake it due to their SO's being the best of friends. Regan is a TTU Grad with a Masters in nutrition. She is working to become a Physician Assistant. She's one of the most dedicated & hard working people we know & we couldn't be happier for her.
Cade Rice

Cade is one of Matt's oldest and dearest friends. Even after not living anywhere close to each other, their friendship has never dwindled. Cade and Matt grew up and on the same street in Marble Falls and were inseparable. Unless of course one or the other was in trouble for something, which was weird because they were perfect angels, just ask Robbye! From BMX riding to making Blink 182 music videos in the game room, there has never been a dull moment between the two and we are super excited to have him celebrating with us!
Brittney Mendez

Brittney, or Rae Rae and Jana have also been best friends since high school. Rae Rae's family became all of our families. To this day, we still call her parents "Mama" and "Dad. She is our little fish. After she finished school, she went on to be a Scuba Diving instructor in Florida and then St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Unfortunately, she was a victim to Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma's brutal devastation. With no way to get out and no where to go, hey stocked up on food, beer, games, and Halloween movies as they toughed out the storms. The entire 7 days we couldn't reach her was the worst feeling in the entire world. Thankfully, they were able to hop on a cruise ship to Puerto Rico where they were able to fly home. We can't wait to sing "Tragos Amargos" with you, dear!
Tyson Nowlin

Meat Hammer Corn Dog Hasselhoff Bob. The youngest of the group but the oldest soul we have. Tyson, better known to everyone as Bob, is a cotton farmer and rancher with his older brother Pecos. Tyson and Matt met through Pecos when Tyson was still in high school and it’s been a wild time ever since. There isn't very many things you get into with Bob that don't end up being some of the best times and most fun you've ever had. ACDC back roading is at the top of our list for sure. THUNDER!!!! We love you, Bobby B.
Gracyn Floyd

Gracyn is the youngest of Matt's three siblings. She is a Sophomore at Faith Academy in Marble Falls. Gracyn goes by Gracyn, Gracie, G, Grace, or any other shortened form of Gracyn. She is part of a competitive cheer leading team, where she travels all across the nation to complete. We joke about Gracyn being the family princess, but she is without a doubt the sweetest of the 4 anyways. We love you G, and Jana is so excited to finally have a sister!
Casey Meritt

Butters, probably the quietest of the group but still fits in perfect. Jana actually didn’t even know his name was Casey until a couple years ago. Casey and Matt met through mutual friends in Lubbock and hit it off immediately. He could have been considered the fourth roommate at the JSM House, only his room was the living room and bed was the couch. Casey is another one of those friends that would do anything for you without a question and the one Matt turns to for advice on just about anything. Casey currently lives in Amarillo and we think he’s found his perfect match, Carly who is a kindergarten teacher. Let’s be honest, anyone who is a Kindergarten teacher is basically an angel so we’re planning on Carly sticking around for a while.
Liz Thompson

Liz and her husband, Allen who is our Officiant, are some of our favorite people in the whole world. When Jana asked Liz to be a part of the wedding, she said that Allen's friends are for sure in her top five favorite things about Allen. Mutual doesn't seem like a strong enough word to describe how Jana and Matt both agree. Liz's sense of humor, our love for Harry Potter, Liz's political ideology, and the hilarity of "Did I Marry a Grown Man or an Overgrown Toddler" brings so much joy to Jana's life. We sure our glad Allen managed to lock this lady down for life.
Jeremy Roe

Jeremy, the Bear Grylls and Mcguyver of the group. He can fix anything you throw at him and could literally make it out of the jungle with a knife and nothing else. We always joke about what Jeremy is doing in his free time. “What’s Jermz up to today?... I don’t know, probably adding a new bedroom to the house or building a rocket ship in the backyard.” Jeremy and Matt met through Jeremy's wife Ashleigh, Jana’s MOH, and have been close friends ever since. Matt still to this day talks about shooting the 50 cal with Jeremy, an experience that Matt says he will never forget. From the late night hog hunts in Rotan to catching Marlin in Costa Rica, you can bet with Jeremy around its always going to be an adventure!
Kaylie Langley

Kaylie is the wife to Trey, Jana's only brother. It's quite funny because Trey is about 6 foot 3 and Kaylie, or Pixie as Devin calls her, stands right at a foot under Trey. Jana's family is so happy that Trey found someone to care and love Trey the way that she does and we are so excited to have you join our family!
Kyle Flanagan

Kyle and Jana have been best friends since 6th grade. Over the years they’re lives have changed so much but their friendship remained true. Somehow, Kyle found an amazing woman to marry him and now they’re going to expand their family a little more this coming November! Kyle and Matt have known each other for several years as well. They had mutual friend back in their Lubbock years and let’s be honest, Kyle is a really hard guy not to get along with anyways. Jana still is trying to convince Matt to let Kyle stand on her side but Matt isn’t quite convinced. We’ll see what ends up actually happening come September! We are so so happy that Kyle and his bonus-daughter, Blakely are part of our day. Love you guys!
Logan Docherty

Logan and Matt have known each other since they were born, being 13 days apart they quite literally have been friends since day one. From birthday parties together, jumping the ditch, jamming every Cold Play song ever made, roommates in college, OG Federer fans and being the coolest guys on campus "bumping" Lil Wayne, they have been through it all and wouldn't change a thing. Logan lives in Marble Falls with his amazing wife Maggie and their sweet son James. "I wanna grow old with you" Ha!
Trey Langley

Trey is Jana's only sibling. Growing up together we had our typical brother and sister quarrels. You know, Jana ran over him with a golf cart once, Trey tried to stab Jana in the forehead with a fork one time too. The usual brother and sister stuff. ha! Trey has grown to be quite the handy man. He can build and make just about anything you might need. He and Kaylie currently live on the Langley family farm in Canton, Texas, where they plan to start their lives together. Trey is the funniest character you might ever meet, well, Dad may have him beat actually. If there's a back road around, Trey know's how to find it. Thank you for being the best brother a sister could ever ask for and for becoming such dear friends with Matt. We love you!
Derrick Clark

“The Adventures of Hank and Wayne”. Derrick and Matt met while were working at Blueline Rental in Midland. Derrick is the life of any party and our gentle giant, at 6'4 and a former college football player he is hard to miss. Luckily, he has a heart of gold and is one of the funniest most out going people you will ever meet. At one time, they had plans of moving to Florida to start their own rental business together, Jana may have brought that to a halt. Derrick once tried to pick a fight with a Clydesdale, that didn’t work out so well. He and Matt have been through it all and we couldn't be more excited to have him celebrating with us. Hank and Wayne!
