After graduating college, Garrett and Didi both found themselves starting new chapters in Atlanta, Georgia - working at the same company without yet knowing how intertwined their lives would soon become. Their paths crossed for the first time in December 2021 during an office lunch. Shortly thereafter, Didi slid into Garrett’s Microsoft Teams chat with a bold offer: “Want to go for a run after work?” That evening, they ran together through Piedmont Park for over an hour. Didi wasted no time, firing off deep questions about Garrett’s childhood, future goals, and favorite cereal (you know, the important stuff). Afterward, she called her parents and said, “I don’t know where this is going, but I’m just glad there are people like him still out there.” From that run forward, something special started to grow. Their runs became regular, often followed by Garrett’s homemade chicken pasta dinners - his signature dish. Didi started attending Garrett’s tennis matches, carefully pretending not to watch too closely so as not to reveal just how smitten she already was. In March 2022, Garrett asked Didi to make things official. And now, four years later, we’re overjoyed to celebrate our journey of love, laughter, and growth with all of the people who shaped who we are today.
