👩🏻🍳 🍪 👨🏼🍳 CALLING ALL BAKERS!🧑🏼🍳 🍪 👨🏻🍳 Bekah and Joe will have a traditional cookie table at the reception, filled with homemade cookies and bars from our loved ones’ history, cultures, memories…and their ovens! We’re asking family and friends to bake their family favorite cookies and bring them or mail them to add to the reception cookie table. Please consider joining in the fun! Maybe you have a signature cookie, or a beloved family recipe, a special cookie reminiscent of Bekah and Joe, or reflective of your heritage? (Don’t forget to include a note with your name, the type of cookie, and the recipe for the newlyweds’ kitchen! 🗃) You choose what kind and how many you want to bake. This page is NOT your room reservation. 🔔 To celebrate Bekah and Joe’s wedding with family and friends, we have reserved the Catholic Conference Center and all of its guest rooms for the weekend. Come share a joyful, relaxing, and safe wedding weekend altogether! The Catholic Conference Center is a beautiful, peaceful retreat center on 180 acres at the foot of Baker Mountain near Hickory, North Carolina. It is 45 minutes north of Charlotte Douglas International, 2 1/2 hrs west of the Triangle, and an hour east of Asheville. There’s hiking trails and an outdoor Stations of the Cross, outdoor basketball courts, horseshoes, a bonfire pit, and a picnic shelter. Indoors, the Center has gathering spaces, a gift shop, chapel, a guest kitchen, and newly refurbished guest rooms. We also ask you to pray for fair weather so that we are blessed with lovely late Fall weather in the Old State. 🤎🍁🙏🌻🙏🐿🧡

While the newly wed couple and their wedding party finish taking photos at St. Aloysius, guests are free to explore downtown Hickory, or return to the Catholic Conference Center to mingle or rest. We expect the Wedding Party to greet guests around 4:45p at the the Center. (More details as the joyful day gets closer!)
