Maid of Honor
Jolie has been by Laura’s side since she was a veterinary assistant in the DC area. Jo had a broken leg the same time as Laura and they connected in a way you can only connect with your one true heart dog. They even needed dental work at the same time earlier this year! They’ve been through it all together - moving to Philadelphia for Laura’s masters program, then to Blacksburg for veterinary school, and then lastly to Richmond to start her career in veterinary emergency medicine. Laura certainly couldn’t have done it without her number one fan by her side always ready for whatever came her way. From vet school demo-dog to hiking partner Jolie’s always ready for it! Of course she’ll be by Laura’s side as they embark on this next exciting adventure.
Best Girl
Kodiak is Dick's first dog and his first little girl. They have been together since 2010 when Kodiak was just a 7 week-old ball of fur. From being a frat dog in college to a hikers best companion when he was living in Roanoke, Kodiak has always been down for an adventure. With Kodiak now on the later side of 10 she has certainly slowed down in recent years but she'll never say no to a swim in the ocean or lake and she certainly never misses the chance to chase and torment the local rabbits, birds, mice.. you name it. Keep an eye out for her at the party as she'll be dressed in her best and would love to meet you but just a warning she will leave her fur behind on any dark colored clothes!
Flower Pup
Oh Epley... this adorably precious, sweet, anxious baby. She joined Laura and Jolie as they were leaving Blacksburg and she has enjoyed most of her life as an RVA pup. She looks good in a tutu and flower necklace so she’s a perfect flower girl fit with her little sister Edith! 🌸🌸🌸
Flower Pup
The newest addition to the family and the first pup Laura and Dick raised together. Affectionately nicknamed “Evil Edith” and “Needy Edie” she has a spit fire personality. She may try to chew off Epley’s flower necklace and her own tutu but oh well she‘s earned the role of flower pup #2! Let’s all try to keep a close eye on her, thanks!
