Beach Week Options
Our wedding will be taking place at The Inn at Pamlico Sound in Buxton, NC. The closest airport is Norfolk International which is about 3 hours north. Virginia Beach, VA is just under 3 hours away and Richmond, VA is about 4 hours.
There are several rooms blocked off for guests to rent at The Inn for the weekend as well a multitude of houses in the area typically available as week-long rentals. If you would like to rent one of the rooms at The Inn please contact Laura or Dick as soon as possible. The families of the bride and groom have locked in beachfront week-long rentals in Hatteras Village along Lighthouse Road and invite guests to do the same to keep the party going all week long. Most rentals are typically Saturday-Saturday. Our wedding will begin later in the day on Saturday to allow for our guests to check-in to their Saturday rentals. To assist with your search we have provided a list of well known rental companies below but please feel free to use AirBnB and VRBO.
