This charming town is full of amazing restaurants, cafés, shops, and a pier you can stroll along. It features a beautiful beach perfect for relaxing, swimming, and surfing, as well as walking trails for walking, running, or biking. This is where William and I both used to live, where we first met, and where we got engaged! Our favorite café is Catarina’s, right across from the pier. Some of our favorite restaurants in town include Sonny’s (Italian), 9-Style Sushi, and Avila’s (Mexican).
Doho is a great spot for longboard surfing, beginner surfers, and paddleboarding! Dana Point is also a wonderful place for whale and dolphin watching via boat tour. The Dana Point Harbor is perfect for a stroll and offers plenty of options for food and drinks.
Treasure Island offers some of the most incredible views! You can stroll through the park along the cliffs overlooking the beach or head down to the shore to relax and swim.
Newport offers many fun options! There are great beaches to relax and swim at, and you can visit Balboa Island, which has plenty of shops, restaurants, and water sports. You can take a whale-watching boat tour or catch the sunset at Inspiration Point. Newport Harbor is also worth checking out, where you can kayak, paddleboard, or rent a Duffy boat.
A beautiful park with walking trails along the Laguna cliffs, offering incredible views of the beach! It’s also right next to the Laguna Beach town, which has many restaurants and shops.
San O is one of our favorite spots for surfing, especially great for longboarding! The beach offers stunning views and is a wonderful place to relax and take a stroll.
Disneyland is another nearby destination, perfect for all the Disney fans!
A short hike through the rolling hills of Laguna with stunning ocean and coastline views! The full summit hike is approximately 2.8 miles round trip, but if you choose not to go all the way, it’s about 1.2 miles round trip.
Another great hike in the area, winding through rolling hills with beautiful ocean views. It’s a fairly steep trail and about 2.5 miles round trip.
