Yes! Was not fully sure how to start this FAQ but we wanted to be sure you all knew of this Filipino tradition. Also known as the prosperity dance, or sabitan ng pera in Tagalog, it serves to usher in financial abundance in a couple’s marriage. For wedding guests, it’s a fun moment full of candid merriment and well-wishing. In the Philippines, the prosperity dance inspires a competitive and creative atmosphere. Dance partners pin their cash offerings into ambitious fashions for the newlyweds to wear. For those that would like to participate please bring cash, either as a item to wear or just bills to present.
While you all have amazing little humans we would like you to leave them at home. We really just want everyone to be free to party to the fullest and feel if you have to watch over a little one you will not have the amount of fun we want. Thank you!
So...kinda...ok yes we did the legal bit in Vegas. This site is dedicated for our big celebration that we really want you all to attend. Going this route was easier on us, took a lot of pressure away from the BIG day and allows us to start our life together sooner rather than later. No honeymoon, no big dinner it was small and simple. We truly hope you all can still come celebrate with us and treat THIS day as our wedding day, that is what we want.
