How does a biker babe from the west coast link up with a cross country traveler from the east coast? Hinge and a location fib... (from Tori's perspective) I, Tori, was living in Alabama watching a friends house while they processed an adoption in Hungary. I was not sending out likes but I did set my location to El Cajon, CA (fib) and turned it on to see what was out there. Started to get a few likes but nothing overly promising until this biker woman pops up on my screen. I am mid chat with another woman and stopped everything to look at her profile. It was clearly written just for me but I had to play it cool so I went back to my other chat and was going to reply to her later... 15 minutes later...I matched with her; so I failed at playing it cool but it all worked out. That was March 1st 2022, I know not that long ago but since that day we have not gone a full 12 hours without talking. On 3/3 we had our first facetime which was a serious requirement from Dianne as she had some bad experiences and needed to confirm that the woman of her dreams was real. I figured the call was going to be half an hour tops... 2 hours later we hung up and I was sold. The whole call she is looking everywhere but at the screen and could not stop telling me all about herself, I barely got words in which is saying something for me but I was smitten and clearly so was she. We both accepted that we were stuck being virtual until I made it home which was going to be over a month out, 42 days to be exact. During that time, Dianne spent some of it traveling to Florida for work and I was driving myself the long way home. We didn't miss a day, barely missed an hour of time to talk to each other. It was not all rainbows, we really got to know about each other and had to accept a lot during this time, which we did. Then I arrived, April 10th we had our first meet as Dianne puts it since I was having dinner with my family so she couldn't take me out officially until the 11th. Our first meet- well Dianne missed an exit on her way to get me, had to pay a toll and was so nervous she could barely look at me AGAIN; I was so nervous I hugged her right away to avoid from falling. The next day was our first real date, which was dinner at a Mediterranean restaurant and a very cloudy sunset at Sunset Cliffs (which is now very much our spot). Since the day we met we have hardly spent 1 week apart, she had a work event in New Hampshire and I had one in Irvine, CA but we facetimed everyday. She even had gifts and cards for me to open each day she was gone. I said I love you first on April 15th and I asked her to be my girlfriend on May 5th. Our love story does go at full speed but we were both open and honest with each other every step of the way. We wanted to find love and we were both completely open to it. By the time November 11th, 2022 got here and she asked me my favorite question, "Will you marry me?" at our spot, Sunset Cliffs, I didn't hesitate to say YES!!!! She is my best friend in the whole world, and I cannot imagine spending a single day without her. Our Love is fast and true, just come see us and we will prove it to you.
