Laura is Diane's older sister! Laura likes pink and Diane likes black. Laura likes bunnies and Diane likes tigers. Laura loves to ice skate and Diane would rather pierce her eyeballs out. Despite their differences, Diane has always looked up to Laura and admires her very much to this day. She is so happy that Laura is part of her special day!

Max and Babak met as teachers at a Rock N Roll camp called DayJams, where they bonded over music, education, and kicking it curbside. After being summer buddies for five years, Babak and Max became Brooklyn roommates in the summer of 2012. And even though it was only for one year, sometimes they can still hear the sound of the train that passed directly in front of their apartment.

Michaela is one of Diane's closest friends. They met dancing together several years ago when Michaela was on a work visa in New York City from England. Michaela currently resides in England but still makes time to visit NYC regularly. Recently, Max and Diane took a vacation to England with Michaela as their tour guide (we love you) and had an incredible trip! Diane and Michaela Skype as often as possible and use messaging apps that avoid international fees.

Chad is Diane's youngest brother. Despite being Diane's blood relative, Chad likes Max better. Chad and Max (and Diane) enjoy seeing concerts and movies together. Visits with Chad always include pizza and ice cream! Chad is probably going to be the first man on Mars...seriously.

Michael is Diane's younger brother. Michael can make Diane laugh so hard that she pees her pants. They like to go shopping, share Apple music, and drink Starbucks together. He lives on the West Coast and Diane lives on the East Coast but no matter their physical distance, they remain very close.

Joe and Max met in 1995 at Columbia Elementary School in Annandale, Virginia. As youngsters, they attended many birthday parties, sleepovers and playdates, mostly at Mike Krzywicki's house. As high schoolers they attended many birthday parties, sleepovers and playdates, mostly at Mike Krzywicki's house. Although Max will be eternally jealous of Joe for making it into the Crossmen Drum and Bugle corps in the summer of 2004 when he did not, their long-distance friendship has survived and is as strong as ever.

Genevieve is Diane's longest-lasting friendships. They have known each other for over a decade (we are old Gen). Diane and Gen were little trouble-makers. They have had countless adventures, most of which have been erased from their memories. They recently got matching tattoos, and now they are bonded forever. Ocean took a strong liking to Gen and now they are best friends too.

Alex is the better looking half of the dynamic Indie Synth-Rock duo known as NOARU. Max began playing drums in Alex's band shortly after moving to Brooklyn, and after emailing countless song ideas back and forth, they eventually decided to start a band. Although they have been known to get sidetracked by video games, card games, and long meandering discussions about Anime, NOARU is still hard at work and releasing an album in the near future (after the wedding.)
