Flight

ALB - Albany International Airport

If you are traveling from out of town and are planning to fly into the Saratoga Springs and Lake George area, the closest and easiest airport to fly into is Albany International Airport. Lake George is located 50 miles from the airport, about 1 hour by car. A second option is Boston Logan International Airport, which is the closest major hub to Lake George. It is about a 3.5 hour drive. If not traveling by car, you can arrange for a car or shuttle service to take you to the Lake George area.

We highly recommend renting a car for your visit if you are coming from afar as Lake George is most accessible by car. If you wanted to visit Saratoga Springs or explore deeper into the Adirondacks, a car will be a necessity to get around. There is not a lot of public transportation available, and ride share services like Uber and Lyft can be unreliable going to and from the venue. If you're flying into the Albany Airport, many of the major car rental companies like Enterprise and Avis service this location.
