Where is the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be at the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Hartford, CT. The cocktail hour will begin immediately following the ceremony at the Portuguese Club of Hartford. Addresses can be found on the schedule tab of our website!

Is there parking available?

Answer

At the church ceremony: There are both upper and lower level parking lots. The upper level is closest to the church entrance, which is the only entrance guests should use. The lower level serves as overflow parking. Important: Please do not block the driveway leading to the upper lot, as we need to keep space clear for the party bus to move smoothly. At the Portuguese Club: Parking is available all around the building, with plenty of street parking nearby. Additionally, guests are welcome to park at the German Club located just across the street. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail or semi-formal attire is perfect. For men, a suit or dress pants with a button-up shirt and tie. For women, a cocktail dress or dressy jumpsuit. Look sharp, but no need for a tux or ball gown! Kindly avoid wearing white or very light shades—we’d like to keep the spotlight on the couple.

Are little ones invited?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to join us for the celebration! For the ceremony, there is a crying room available for parents who may need a quiet space. The room has speakers and a clear view of the ceremony, so you won’t miss a moment! During the reception, we kindly ask that children stay with a parent or guardian, especially during entrances and special dances, so those moments can be enjoyed without distractions. Please include any little ones in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Thank you so much for your understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
