Maid of Honor
Maddie is Diana's older sister and OG travel companion. In their mid-twenties, they backpacked for 4 months through Europe and Thailand together and have more wild stories and anecdotes about each other’s quirks than you can imagine. Maddie’s an RN, a rooftop trekker (www.rooftoptrekkers.com), a seasoned trip planner, and an overall life enthusiast. She’s a go-getter at her core and has never been one to settle - qualities Diana deeply admires about her.
Best Man
Alex is one of Curtiss's closest friends from high school and was an obvious choice for best man. He is a novelist, a connoisseur of craft beers and an overall outstanding human being. He is also a doctor; just don’t ask him where he went to medical school. Prepare for a truly mind-bending wedding speech.
Bridesmaid
Candice is Diana’s best friend and soul sister. They met freshman year of college and, although they drifted apart for a bit after graduation while Candice was at PT school in Boston and Diana was working in Chicago, they quickly reunited and rekindled their deep friendship. Candice is endlessly vibrant, silly, and full of positive energy. There is never a dull or quiet moment when Candice is around!
Groomsman
Mike is Curtiss's closest friend and roommate from law school. He is a proud father of three boys - Elliot, August and Owen - a voracious reader and an excellent dancer. For all his many talents, Mike is particularly good at humbly admitting he is wrong and conceding arguments, even when he has the better of them.
Bridesmaid
Ari is one of Diana’s best friends from college volleyball. They also met freshman year, and lived together their senior year. Diana and Curtiss lived with Ari last summer and, despite the pandemic, had one of the best summers of their lives. Like a 4-month-long F-R-I-E-N-D-S episode. Ari has since moved back to San Diego and is busy being a girlboss and an inspiration. She founded a wardrobe consulting business called Modē Ārija and is easily the most stylish in their friend group.
Groomsman
Lee Davis Jones is one of Curtiss's close friends from College. He is, by all accounts, a fine Southern gentleman. Curtiss and Davis were roommates, coworkers at their College's newspaper and writing center, and travel companions. Curtiss and Davis spent a lot of time together during their four years at Augsburg and never once got into any trouble or did anything they later looked back on and thought, “Man. That wasn’t such a great idea.”
Bridesmaid
Emma is another best friend of Diana’s from college volleyball and senior year roommate. Emma is one-of-a-kind, a fellow empath, and takes “social butterfly” to another level. She knows everyone and is loved by everyone, especially Diana. Their friendship reached new heights in the past few years, and it’s become clear that Diana has finally achieved Emma’s ultimate friend status.
Groomsman
Aaron is one of Curtiss's close friends from college. He is a proud father of his daughter, Olivia. Now a successful physician with excellent diction, in 2007, you could find Aaron unironically crashing through the streets of Minneapolis in his black Escalade, flat-brimmed hat cocked sideways, blasting rap music. Just what everyone wants from a good psychiatrist.
Officiant
Laura is Curtiss’s and—now, much to Diana’s joy—Diana’s sister. She is basically a funnier, more competent, female version of her big brother. Although Sue and Scott are excellent parents who would never admit this out loud, Laura holds the undisputed title of “Favorite Child” in the Schreiber family. Jokes aside, both Curtiss and Diana adore Laura and are so honored to have her officiate their ceremony.
