Maid of Honor
"Allison is not only my sister and Rafa's sister-in-law. Allison is my best friend in the whole wide world. We have had each other's back since we were little despite our sister fights (which truly weren't many). We have always been able to count on each other unconditionally, from keeping our secrets... to dodging mom's chancletas together... In all seriousness, Allison and I know how lucky and blessed we are to have this kind of relationship because not all siblings get along. We are so grateful that we both understand each other and have each other to lean on at all times. Thank you sister for all of your love and support throughout the years and I can't wait until you stand beside me on such a big day. I love you so much!" -Diana
Best Man
" I met Brus for the first time in 2014 when he was just the new kid on the team, that's when I noticed for the first time that he loved to show off his dance moves in the clubhouse in Bejuma. I was also always intrigued with what Brus was thinking about all the time since he was so quiet, but when that dembow came on the guy would kill any floor with his "Maquina Latina' moves". I've come to understand that life is so crazy and full of surprises. Brus and I both ended up falling in love with one of the Landa sisters, we both ended up in serious relationships with one of them AND not only that but we both ended each other's best man!!!! I'm no longer intrigued by what Brus has to say, because when that big guy starts to talk... well let's just leave it at that... All jokes aside, I'm so happy to have Brus as my best man, as part of my family, and more importantly, proud of seeing the man Brus has become on and off the field." -Rafael
Bridesmaid
Once upon a time, Diana went job hunting while attending UCF. Since college was generally stressful she started looking for a fun and happy work environment. She kept hearing about these cupcakes everyone liked and so she decided to go to the cupcake store, Sweet by Holly, and apply. Diana walked up to the counter and with a shy voice asked the girl attending the store for an application. Aliyah handed her a card with the brightest smile and said they were hiring. Diana applied, got the job, and started her first shift with her new coworker Aliyah. After a lot of cupcake eating, long shifts, frozen cokes, and heart to hearts Diana and Aliyah became unconditional for each other. She's one of those once-in-a-lifetime and forever kinds of friends... So much so that Diana was a bridesmaid for Aliyah and now Aliyah will be hers. "Thank you for your friendship Mrs. Howel and I look forward to many years of games & long wine nights."<3

From the moment I held Alex in my arms when I was 10 or 11, I knew that I was always going to treat him as my little brother because I knew at that moment that I had to protect him and take care of him no matter the distance and the circumstances of life. Now, as one of my groomsmen, 17 years later I've come to accept that he's grown and that he's a man now, but still un menorcito para mi. All I want to say is that I'm glad you're no longer el lloroncito on those long night road trips!!

Amycel has always been a caring and special person from a young age. So much so that by nature she's a cousin but a sister by heart. Amycel is one of the strongest women we know and is beyond her years, so having her in our lives is a blessing in itself. She is the kind of person that goes above and beyond for others selflessly, and that, my friends, is rare and extremely special. Thank you Amy for all of your love, Rafa and I can't wait to share this day with you!

What a pleasure and ironic feeling is to have Luis join my wedding party as one of the groomsmen. From day one, in Bejuma, Carabobo, Luis and I didn't click in a good way. Luis always had a big attitude when someone corrected him on something, he would always murmur complaints after being told how to do x, y, and z but I will admit I was a pain in his as*. After several years of learning from each other (and we still are) we have become family. From playing baseball together, being present for the birth of Luis's two daughters, my first real estate transaction when Luis bought his first home, and sharing so many more memories we've learned how to care for and love each other immensely. Don't get me wrong though Luis is still the cranky old man I once met, but I will admit I mess with him too much from time to time haha, we just do these things with more respect and appreciation for each other now. I am so thankful for you brother. Cheers to many more memories!

Diana & Diana ha! I met Diana while performing for the first time at the Saucy Meatball (Our caterer btw yummm). Diana and I got along really fast and we exchanged phone numbers on that same day. The funny part of this story of when we first met was that my ears were ringing from the speaker when Diana introduced herself. So ironically enough I didn't get her name and I was too embarrassed to ask a third time so I saved her in my contacts as "girl from saucy meatball". Or at least I tried... As per usual my freaking phone's autocorrect changed it to "Gurk from spicy me" How? I have no clue... A few days later I realized she had my same name. We became so close so fast that a month later we went to a last-minute Beyonce concert together and when we tried airdropping photos to each other Diana found out about her contact name (that I was too lazy to change). We laughed for hours at the fact that I didn't know her name at first! From that day on we've called each other "Gurk" and the rest is history. Thank you for the laughs and good times Gurky!

Mrs. Hillary is one of the most patient and nicest people we know. She's not only an amazing educator but she's also an amazing friend. We were lucky to have met her and her beloved Jackie at one of my gigs. I'll never forget how she fearlessly got up on stage with me the first night we all met and started singing some tunes. Rafa and I feel safe talking to her for hours and getting so comfortable with someone is something that really takes us some time. Thank you Hillary for always listening tirelessly and opening the doors of your home for us when we've needed you the most!
