We require that all guests be fully up to date on vaccinations against COVID and test negative prior to travel. We are prioritizing all our guests' health and wellbeing, including our immunocompromised and vulnerable guests in attendance.
You will be informed of the number of guests in your party when you RSVP, including children.
Discounted valet parking will be available at the Monroe Street entrance on the day of the wedding. The discount does not apply to overnight guests. Additionally, there is a self park lot nearby at 55 E Monroe Street if you prefer.
Programs will be made available describing each step of the Hindu wedding ceremony. Indian weddings are largely informal. We hope for and expect some chatter, so feel free to wander in and out for coffee, tea or conversation.
Indian weddings are meant to be big, bright, and colorful! No color is off limits, including red, which is traditionally a bridal color. The break between the two events will give you time to re-up your energy and prepare for the night ahead. This time is meant to be spent however you wish, whether that be a nap, a quick trip to the Art Institute, or getting changed for the evening.
The dress code is Black Tie. Men should wear a tuxedo or dark suit. Women should wear a full length dress or equivalent formal attire. Indian formal wear is appropriate for all guests. All our events, except for the Baraat, are indoors.
