Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding mass will be at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Pickering. The mass will begin at 2PM so please arrive early.

How do I rsvp?

Answer

Once you get our invitation, you will be directed to our RSVP site. Please fill out your first and last name and follow the directions on the website.

When should I rsvp by?

Answer

Please RSVP latest by March 31, 2024. The earlier the better!

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if should you like to honor us with a gift, we kindly ask for monetary gifts only.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask you to please arrive by 1:30 PM to the church. Please arrive early so the wedding ceremony can start on time with no disruptions. This way you can also experience and enjoy the entire wedding ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is formal. This means tuxes and gowns are welcome as well as suits and cocktail dresses. Dress to impress! Out of respect for the sacred nature of the wedding mass and church, we kindly ask that all attendees be mindful of the modest attire.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Anyone is welcome to the ceremony, the more the merrier! The reception is strictly RSVP only, as we do have a capacity limit. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please note down your dietary restrictions in your RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is plenty of parking available both at the church as well as the reception hall.

Can I take photos and videos?

Answer

The ceremony at the church will be an unplugged ceremony so we ask that you refrain from taking any photos and videos during the ceremony mass. Besides that, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like! Don't forget to send it to us as well!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the wedding mass and reception will be indoors.

What can I expect from the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be a Roman Catholic Mass. Please respect the reverence and sanctity of the mass and refrain from speaking, walking around and taking photos and videos during the mass.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby. We ask that the guests exit the church quickly, so that the church can prepare for the next mass. You are free up until the cocktail hour that begins at 5pm at the reception hall, where finger foods and beverages will be served.
