Indian weddings are colorful and vibrant! For men: A suit, dress shirt, or a traditional kurta-pajama is great. For women: A dress, gown, or traditional Indian attire like a saree or lehenga is perfect. If you want to pickup something while you are in India (duh!! so fun), we will coordinate a shopping trip.
Stick to bottled or filtered water (even when brushing teeth), no ice (if you are certain it was made from filtered water), avoid seafood (Bangalore is land locked and Jenny learned this the hard way), avoid street food unless approved by a known local.
We recommend using ride-sharing apps like Uber or Ola, or booking a prepaid airport taxi. If needed, we can help arrange transportation for you!
Wi-Fi is available at hotels and cafes. Check with your phone carrier for international calling plans. Download WhatsApp for messaging. This is what we will use to communicate with everyone while in India.

We will send you an invite to the group a few weeks before the wedding. You can also access here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/IR6BWuOOjiPC2P5sUZx1J1?mode=ems_wa_t

Staying here will make it easy to attend all the wedding events, and it’s a great way for everyone to be together throughout the festivities. We highly encourage all guests to stay here for convenience and community. Booking details and instructions will be shared soon!
The nearest airport is Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bangalore. From there, you can take a taxi or ride-share to your hotel.
Most flights from the U.S. to Bangalore (BLR) require a layover in major hubs like Dubai (Emirates), Doha (Qatar Airways), London (British Airways), or Frankfurt (Lufthansa). We recommend booking early to get the best fares.
