Natalie & Deserae are cousins, but have a relationship leaning more towards sisters. They shared a bedroom when Dez first moved to NC, and lived together on multiple other occasions, which you can imagine was both amazing and difficult but led to a deep, irreplaceable bond and admiration for each other. These two are constantly each others biggest cheerleaders in life, and Deserae can't wait to have Natalie cheering her on at her wedding! Natalie knows Dez on one of the most intimate levels. They've been together through some of the most difficult periods of Deserae's life, and also shared some of the most magical memories, like birthdays at Disneyland and Christmas PJ parties. Catch these two getting weird together, and you're bound for big belly laughs!
Stephen Potter
Bestest Mensch
Stephen and Andrew met in 7th grade on the soccer field. It didn't take long to become the best of friends. They bonded over talking to (annoying) other classmates on AIM. They rode skateboards all over town. They played endless hours of World Cup '98 & Mario Party. As the years passed, the friendship circle grew, but the bond never changed. From snowboarding trips, to Six Flags days, the friendship continued to grow. After high school, the boys were separated physically, but found ways to always stay close. Andrew was blessed with the opportunity to play the role of best man in Stephen's wedding, and he is honored to get to have Stephen fill that role for him.
Erin Wurm

Deserae had the honor of officiating Erin's wedding, and now Dez is excited to have Erin on this journey as one of the leads in her wedding party! Erin and Deserae have been friends since elementary school! It takes a real special fit to be closer than ever after over 20 years of growth and change. Yes, these two are known to get in trouble together, but also have the kind of relationship where they help each other grow and offer strength when it's most needed. The trust between these two is so great that Erin will even go on distance rides on the back of Dez's moto! Their memories shared together are vast and cover pretty much every area of life. Stick around for the dancing after the wedding and your gonna see some funky dance moves from this dynamic duo!
Kevin Bryant

Kevin and Andrew met shortly after Andrew & Deserae began dating. Kevin is Deserae's brother. Although it will be more than 5 years since meeting that this ceremony takes place, Kevin and Andrew have felt like brothers for a while. At a family holiday, Kevin and Andrew were tasked with preparing the crab cakes. Little did Deserae know, this was a terrible mistake. The crab cakes were delicious, but Deserae was taken to her wits end with Kevin and Andrew's obnoxious and unnecessary "cooking accents" and ridiculous jokes. At the end of the day, and most simply, Kevin is a tremendous brother, uncle, and all-around human and Andrew is so pleased to have him as a Best Man.
Jessica Bell

Jessica & Deserae met in high school detention, connecting only briefly over an act of defiance after doing their time. Their paths crossed again about two years later when they were fresh out of high school, both of them on similar journeys trying to grow up and clean up, which led to them becoming roommates. They quickly became each others biggest source of support, as well as partners in mischief. Jessica eventually moved away for college and Dez moved back to CA after having her son. The 15 years of distance have proven that this pair is dedicated to their friendship; they have both put a lot of energy into growing the relationship as they grow in their own ways. Dez got to be a part of Jessica's wedding in 2017, and she is excited to have Jess involved in her special day in 2020!
Gavin Green

Gavin Green...the son...the heir to the Tears of Demons thrones. If you have met Gavin, than you need not continue reading as you have already experienced the joy and love that comes in the heart of this young man. He is a person of great passion and energy. Raised under the tutelage of Deserae, there was no doubt that Gavin would grow to be strong, resilient, and kind. When Andrew came into their lives, Gavin was 8 years old. It didn't take long for the bonding to begin. Games of Madden, copious slices of pizza, and genuine care and interest helped Andrew and Gavin build the foundations of their relationship. 5 years later, they are a family. A strong, beautiful family.
Kymber Senes

Kymber is part of the Senes clan, and Deserae is so excited to have her as a sister-in-love! These two are a couple of queerdos (weirdos, but queer): flying their own flags and marching to their own drums. When you bring them together, it sure is fun! You won't be able to stop of these two from dancing, sharing quiet thoughts with one another, and laughing loudly. Their time together over the last 5 years hasn't been all laughs and good times, though, and Dez & Kymber have already shown that they are there for each other through the tough stuff too. Kymber's beautiful vulnerability is inspirational, and hopefully you get to know a bit of that inspiration if you aren't already one of the lucky people to know her!
Devin Boner

Devin and Andrew became close friends in high school. It's unclear how it all happened, but Devin came into Andrew's life through a tight-knit group of mutual friends. Not unlike the rest of the friendships, life changed, but the friendships and love remained. Through the various bands formed over the years, the mountains of burritos eaten, and the death-defying ride to school in the rain on a tandem bicycle with no brakes, Devin and Andrew have always enjoyed time spent together. Andrew had the great honor of officiating Devin's wedding, and Andrew is honored to have Devin as an integral part of his.
Ashley Senes-Hahn

Ashley is a Senes sibling that Deserae is excited to have a sister-in-love! She welcomed Dez & Gavin into her home and life with warm smiles the first time they met, which is extra special when someone with children does that. Deserae began being called "Auntie Dez", and Gavin jumped into the cousin role pretty quickly; honors that fill both of them with a great sense of love. Deserae quickly felt at home with Ashley, while they made drinks disappear, replacing them with laughs. Countless bbq's at the Hahn ranch have allowed these two to build a relationship that has led to a trusting bond (they also make a pretty great corn-hole team). If you don't know Ashley yet, try to get a game or conversation in with her so you can have a chance to feel the warmth and comfort that she radiates.
Tom Lees

Tom and Andrew became close friends in middle school. They met through Stephen, as Stephen and Tom had been friends since elementary school. Tom and Andrew's friendship blossomed quickly. Tom's lived in various, and occasionally remote/foreign areas, over the years, but whenever they can get together it's like no time has passed at all. These two have shared plentiful memories; there have been late night bike rides, awful backyard haircuts, questionable homemade plywood street luges, and endless amounts of laughter. Andrew is so thankful to be able to have Tom join in this special day.
Kimberly Carpenter

Kimberly has graciously accepted to officiate and bless our wedding. Kim is Deserae's aunt, but is more like a second mom. Kim is Natalie's mom, so if you've read this far, you know Dez has lived with them on multiple occasions. Kim has always been Dez's safe landing pad, where she knows she is loved unconditionally, called out on her BS, and encouraged to be her best self. Even though Kim lives in North Carolina, Andrew has had enough opportunities to feel deeply loved by her. Kim's energy is contagious, so it's kind of hard to not feel a bond immediately upon meeting her. With her magical abilities to make everyone feel welcome, loved, and supported, we couldn't think of anyone better to bless our relationship and bring our families together.

These younglings are the nephew and niece of Deserae and Andrew. They are so sweet and full of love. The children of Larry and Ashley Hahn, these two kidlets are so silly and joyous, and are beautiful extensions of the love their parents' share. Deserae and Andrew are so excited to have these kiddos in their life and are so thankful to have them as a part of their special day. If you get a chance to meet these little loves, you definitely should!
