FAQs

Question

Is there a changing room for the pool party?

Answer

Yes! Changing rooms will be available for both the welcome dinner and the wedding day. We’ll also provide a shared space where you can leave your change of clothes. Towels will be available, but quantities may be limited, so it might be a good idea to bring a small one just in case.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation—if a plus one has been included, it will be clearly indicated there. We unfortunately can’t accommodate additional guests beyond those listed on your invite.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Our celebration will be primarily an adult event. We’ve made a few exceptions, so please check your invitation for details. During the ceremony, we kindly ask that babies are taken to the designated childcare room, where they’ll be well looked after. They’re very welcome to rejoin the celebration afterward. For children attending the ceremony, we’d really appreciate your help in keeping them settled and minimizing the use of electronic devices. Please note that we won’t be providing dedicated entertainment for children.

Question

Help! What do I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is tropical black tie—think elegant, but with a fun, island twist. Bright colors, bold prints, flowy fabrics, and a little sparkle are all very welcome! For women, long or midi dresses in breathable fabrics are a great choice. Given Bali’s heat and humidity, you might want to opt for lighter materials and consider an updo hairstyle to stay cool. For men, a classic suit or tux is perfect, but feel free to play with lighter colors or fabrics to suit the tropical setting. Above all, please dress in a way that feels comfortable—you’ll want to enjoy the celebration without worrying about the heat. And if you’re unsure or want a bit of outfit inspiration, feel free to reach out to the bride!

Question

Can I take photos with my phone?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present—we’ve got a professional photography and videography team capturing it all. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like and enjoy the celebration!

Question

Where Should I stay?

Answer

There are so many wonderful areas to stay in Bali—we especially love Canggu, Seminyak, and Uluwatu. If you’d like to be close to the welcome dinner, we recommend staying in Canggu. For the wedding day itself, we highly suggest staying at our recommended hotel, Swan Paradise A Pramana Experience. Bali traffic can be unpredictable, and this hotel is close to the venue. We’ll also be arranging shuttle service from there to make things as easy as possible.

Question

Are gifts expected?

Answer

Your presence is truly the greatest gift to us, and we’re so grateful you’ll be celebrating with us. If you would like to give something, you’re very welcome to contribute to our honeymoon. At the entrance of the wedding, there will be a guest book where you can share your favorite memory of us or leave a note. There will also be a box for envelopes if you wish to leave a gift.

Question

Who should I connnect to on the day if I have questions?

Answer

Closer to the date, you’ll be added to a group chat where the bride, groom, and bridal party will be happy to answer any questions and help out with anything you need.
