Welcome Dinner

Effortless coastal chic. Mini dresses, breezy sets, linen shirts, short-sleeved button-ups, and tailored shorts encouraged. Keep it stylish but relaxed, in lightweight fabrics you wouldn’t mind wearing poolside… or taking a spontaneous dip in.

To kick off our being together in Bali, we would like to welcome you to Villa Emmy for a casual, wholesome dinner. We will serve various Vietnamese dishes, ice cream and some light drinks (going crazy is reserved for the wedding). This will be a mix of a dinner and pool party. So dress appropriately!

Tropical Maximalist Cocktail / Ballroom:We invite you to embrace a bold, joyful, and expressive look inspired by the vibrant spirit of Bali. Think layers, movement, and rich textures: ruffles, draping, pleats, embroidery, statement pieces, and playful prints are all welcome. As a gentle guideline, we encourage guests to leave delicate pastels and pale neutrals, and avoid white or cream.

The celebration begins at 4:00 PM, so please arrive by then. Grab a drink, say hello, and make your way to the ceremony area to sign our guest book before finding your seat. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM, so we kindly ask that everyone is seated on time. This is an adult-focused celebration. Children should be supervised and kept entertained throughout the event. Babies will not be part of the ceremony; a dedicated childcare room with three nannies will be available, and we kindly ask that babies remain there during this time. If you prefer not to use childcare, one parent is welcome to go to the childcare area. We also ask that children do not use electronic devices during the ceremony. Babies are welcome again after the ceremony. Afterward, enjoy a cocktail hour, followed by dinner at 6:30 PM. Then it’s time to celebrate with music, drinks, and dancing. At 11:15 PM, the after party begins, with the pool open for a late-night swim.

To finish off the wedding week, we’ll be at Finns Beach Club for a casual beach day. Feel free to join us for part of the day or the whole thing. Guests can settle their own food and drinks on the day. We recommend making a booking on the website since this is a Friday, though walk-ins are also possible subject to availability. In Indonesia, the sun sets around 6-ish, so feel free to plan your day accordingly. Come for a swim, a cocktail, or just lounge in the sun before we say our goodbyes. Please note the venue is for adults only.
