Dex and Amanda met through mutual friends/family in 2016 at Steamers restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA. From that day forward, they couldn't get enough of each other. Dex and Amanda showed one another a fresh and sweet love. They constantly talked throughout the day and he even had her sprung enough to bring him lunch whenever he worked close to Culpeper. Looking back, they have to pay gratitude to the song "Pony" by Ginuwine as that was the song that made them fall in love. All it took was one dance and an exchanged phone number. As time continued, Dex and Amanda continued to spend time together and would eventually be introduced to each other's families. Since then, they haven't been able to go anywhere without each other and not have others ask, "well where is Amanda/Dex". Their love story is one of a kind as they truly met when neither was looking. Along the years, the two have grown as best friends and have talked about a future that must include one another. After many years (let Amanda tell it, it was 100 years), Dex popped the question in front of a room of family and friends on April 16, 2022. Dex and Amanda truly balance one another out and are the perfect team. They enjoy simplicity and the intimacy of family and friends. Whether they're enjoying a night out on the town or a restful night in, they always enjoy one another's company and strive to take care of one another. Since 2016, their love quote has been and continues to be, "always and forever; forever and always". As the years have passed by, they are constantly reminded that with God at the center of their lives, family in their corner, and one another by their sides, their love will always be a sure thing!
