Ceremony & Picnic

Our ceremony will be held outdoors in the meadow of the Peninsula overlooking the Prospect Park Lake. It will be here rain or shine! Please bring an umbrella or a chair if you need them.
Our ceremony will **begin promptly at noon** please don't be late! Please use this pin to plan your travels and look for our escorts once you arrive: https://goo.gl/maps/GEkkpa3c6VZxP6Xz8 This is a BYOE ceremony (Bring Your Own Everything). We invite all our guests to bring whatever will make them comfortable for our event: chairs, picnic blanket, packed lunch, water, or other beverages. We will provide some lawn games and musical entertainment. After our ceremony, *weather permitting* please join us for a casual picnic and mingling in the Peninsula meadow. At 3:30pm we will host a musical experience to signal the end of our park gathering. This experience may include a parade. Attire is casual cocktail, note that the entire event will take place in a meadow so plan appropriate footwear. Nearby restrooms are located at the Wellhouse (https://goo.gl/maps/ZpaxHWVGKX6acnxF9).

This event is BRING YOUR OWN CUP. We will have a washing station available outdoors as well as both kitchens in the apartments if you'd like to rinse your cup between beverages. There will be labels and markers available so that everyone may clearly mark their containers and we can reunite any lost ones back with their owners. Our reception will be held in the backyards and driveway of 399 and 395 Rugby Rd. Guests are welcome to mingle in all our outdoor spaces as well as the front porch and both units of 399. If it is raining, we will have tents covering the driveway as well as one of our backyards. Self serve hors d'oeuvres and a bar will be available for all guests. Dinner will be provided along with all necessary dietary restriction options.

Send Off Brunch

We will be hosting a send off bagel brunch for all our guests at our apartment at 399 Rugby Rd. There will be bagels, cream cheese, coffee, and tea. We invite everyone to lounge and relax in our home before continuing their travels and adventures.
