We visit the zoo several times a week - it’s a really lovely place! We plan to go there on Saturday June 14th from 9:30-12pm.
This is one of the best walks in town and where we send a lot of time at the park, community center and splash pad. Rent a kayak and paddle out on the lake! Be sure to stop by the welcome event at Layers.
This will be going on the morning of the wedding - we highly encourage everyone to check it out and get a real feel for Ballard life (the part of town Devorah lived in for many years)
Visit the fish ladder, the locks, the beautiful park and rose garden - and maybe even catch a jazz concert that happens all spring/summer long
Another favorite beach of ours and at the end of the Burke Gilman Trail.
Visit the famous troll under the bridge
Breathtaking views of Seattle
Rent a bike and ride along one of the best bike trails that takes you across Seattle.
Walk the loop trail (~4 miles) and enjoy the best views looking west. Easy to do with kiddos!
Shop and visit the famous Pike Place Market. We recommend crumpets from The Crumpet Shop, a sandwich and chocolate drop cookie from Three Girls Bakery and a stop into the used bookstore
The aquarium is an awesome place to visit - it lets you see the newly restored waterfront as well.
The Seattle Center is the home of Space Needle, Chihuly garden, MoPOP, Ballet, Opera, Theater, Food court, outdoor playground and the famous fountain in the center. This is the home of the Folklife Festival (every Memorial Day weekend) that Devorah has worked at for 18+ years as well as the former home of Book-It Repertory Theater.
A fun playground and a GORGEOUS Pacific Northwest Beach. We love coming here all summer long.
