The ceremony will be outdoors, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour. After the cocktail hour, the reception will be indoors with a plated dinner service, followed by indoor dancing, with the freedom to move from indoors to outdoors throughout the night.
In the interest of the health and safety of our family and friends, we request that everyone attending our wedding be fully vaccinated with one of the available COVID-19 vaccines. If you have any questions or concerns about our plans, please reach out to us.
We expect there to be about 125 people (guests & vendors) present at our wedding. The venue capacity is 300 for a seated meal, so there should be ample space for distancing with options to move from indoors to outdoors during the event.
Because all of our guests have been vaccinated, we are not requiring masks be worn during the wedding, however we encourage everyone to take steps which make them feel most comfortable, including wearing masks throughout the evening. Our caterer will require masks and gloves of all the servers and bartenders during cocktail hour and dinner service.
The welcome dinner will be held at a local brewery in downtown Austin with only our guests and the staff present. The brewery has confirmed that all employees have been fully vaccinated and will be wearing masks during the event. While the brewery is largely indoors, there are a few tables and seats outdoors that will be available for any guests who prefer to be outside. However, we understand if some of our guests have concerns about attending a mostly indoor event with a large number of people. If you have already RSVP'd as attending the Welcome Dinner and are uncomfortable attending given the current spread of the Delta variant, please reach out to us directly to let us know and we'll be happy to provide suggestions for outdoor dining options in Austin.
