Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal! Since it is a spring wedding we would love to see our guests in color! In classic Meredith fashion, she encourages all the funkiness and color with your outfit choices. The ceremony will be in the grass so stilettos are discouraged for guests’ comfort so they don’t sink in the grass. No jeans please. Based on last year's weather, a high of 70 and low of 46 can be expected.

Question

What if there is no more room on your hotel block?

Answer

There are several other hotels near the Kimpton that are walkable so that you can still use the transportation we have provided. These include Hotel Indigo (104 W 4th street), Marriott (425 N Cherry street), Embassy Suites (460 N Cherry street), and Hampton Inn (235 N Cherry street).

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If applicable, your plus one will be indicated on your invite. For example, your envelope will list "(your name) & guest". For families, it will list "(your name) & family" or " The (your last name) Family". When you go to RSVP you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be held outdoors! We have rented a tent in case of rain.

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you please. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or with their plus one or partner).

Question

What do I do if I'm late for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:00 pm. We recommend guests arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. if that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception so hang tight and we will see you at the reception! Thank you for understanding.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There will be parking in the front field available for guests who are wanting to drive. We are providing a shuttle service for guests staying at the hotel that will bring you to the venue and take you back to the hotel. We encourage use of this service for safety purposes!

Question

Since there will be alcohol being served, what do we do about driving?

Answer

We absolutely DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving so we have hired a shuttle service to transport guests to and from the venue from the hotel. You are also more than welcome to leave your car overnight at the farm as it is our property.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, March 1, 2024 or we will assume you will not be able to attend our wedding.

Question

What is the McCliment-Kinnamon Homestead?

Answer

This is the land that has been in Meredith’s family for several generations. In September 2022 Meredith bought her great aunt Carol’s half of the farm, where her mother and grandmother still live on the adjacent land. Together this land makes up a 65 acre farm where Meredith and Devon got engaged on and hope to live on someday. They can’t wait for you to see it!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your kids and would love to have them at our wedding! Please just let us know if they weren’t included in your RSVP and you’re planning on bringing them.
