FAQs

Question

What time do I need to arrive to the Ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 10:00 AM exactly. Please arrive no later than 9:30 AM. Please plan additional travel time due to Orlando traffic. The earlier you are- the better. We are not able to wait for you if you are late.

Question

Are you having a traditional Wedding and Reception?

Answer

We’ve chosen to celebrate our special day a bit differently. Essentially, we’re eloping with our family and a few of our closest friends. Our ceremony will take place at Paradise Cove Orlando, followed by an After Party Brunch at Paddlefish in Disney Springs. We look forward to celebrating with you in a more relaxed and intimate setting!

Question

What is the attire for the Ceremony & After Party?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail attire. Elegant, festive, and comfortable for celebrating! Think knee length or longer dresses, suits or blazers with dress pants, and polished shoes. Dressy sandals are welcome, but please no flip-flops. We also kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white or cream.

Question

Can I stop at my hotel between the Ceremony and the After Party Brunch at Paddlefish?

Answer

To ensure a smooth and relaxed transition between events, we recommend heading directly from the ceremony at Paradise Cove to Paddlefish in Disney Springs. While the drive is only about 15 minutes, we’ve built in up to an hour to allow for traffic, parking, security, and the walk to the venue. Carpooling or using a rideshare service can make the journey easier. We’re so excited to continue celebrating with you at Paddlefish!

Question

Will food & drinks be provided?

Answer

There will be no food or drinks provided during the ceremony, so please plan ahead and grab something beforehand. After the ceremony, we’ll be celebrating with a brunch after-party where food and drinks will be served.

Question

Is the Ceremony going to be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony is planned to take place outdoors, weather permitting. In the event of rain, the venue will make arrangements to relocate the ceremony to a covered area. Since mornings in Orlando typically experience less rainfall, we have chosen an earlier start time to minimize the likelihood of weather-related disruptions.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos or videos during the Ceremony?

Answer

We warmly welcome guests to capture special moments during the ceremony. If you choose to take photos or videos at the “I do” moment, please be considerate by not holding your device in a way that obstructs the view of others. Additionally, kindly remain mindful of the professional photographer’s work.

Question

Are children allowed to come?

Answer

Yes, we are planning a relatively small wedding and have invited 40 guests. Your save-the-date and invitation will include both your name and your child’s. We do ask that if your child is able to sit on your lap during the ceremony that would help us tremendously. There are only going to be 35 chairs. Luckily the venue was accommodating with us inviting a few extra guests- as long as some children can sit on their parents lap. We would be delighted to have them join us on this special day.
